Gina De Leon was the only one Gary Ballesteros could turn to when he was having problems with his mom. Ricky, his best friend, was too busy with Gina's best friend, Diane. His mom was dating a guy and Gary couldn't get any of his mom's time. Gina would comfort him by saying how lucky he is to have his mom with him while her parents are in the States away from her and her brother, Carlo. |

The two became more attached, turning to each other for advice and comfort. Gary fell in love with Gina, and he soon found out that she felt the same way. They talked about it and the courtship started, leading to a relationship which they broke off after a few months. She was being too demanding and he was becoming overprotective. They remain good friends. |

When Gina got the word that her parents were getting divorced, she decided to stay with them in the States and bring Carlo along with her. While she was processing her papers and packing up her stuff, Gary realized that he's still in love with her. He didn't wanna lose his Gina pie anymore. He asked her out again but she was having doubts of what they would become but gave it one more try. They were gonna have a long distance relationship. |

FAST FORWARD: Gary's now working for his stepfather, the same guy who he once thought was stealing his mom away from him. Gina was back from the States and was in college. They were engaged.

As the process of wedding preparation becomes unbearable for Gina, she and Gary discovered that she has some hormonal problems which may prevent her from getting pregnant. This issue fueled an argument with Gina returning the ring to Gary. He proposed again to her at the barkada's Christmas reunion. |

Like any other fairy tale, they would live happily ever after. Of course, there would be a time when they'll think that it's over but they will be able to overcome those things. That's what makes their love special. They know what they have been through as a couple will only make them and their love stronger.
