These are the latest things I changed on my pages:

Alb's Books and CD Store has been revamped. I opened a whole new set of pages for the CD's (frames) and re-designed the whole design. Something I hadn't offered at all so far: the Software I use myself at home. If you find glitches and errors please let me know.

I can't believe I haven't written anything into this diary at all this year! There's been a lot going on with other websites, and in real life as well, of course.
We're pretty much settled into our house by now, and now it's time to do some renovations on my home in webspace.
I moved all my pages to a new location: www.thealb.de, with the subdomains of Hamburg Pages, HTML and PSP tutorials, FirstJest's Albatross Page, and The Circus, formerly a part of Hamburg Pages called The Circus. As always, please give me your comments or send me an e-mail.

I've been working on my other page a lot: FirstJest's Pages. Seems I have neglected my old home very much but I'm still here.

I made a new website at http://fj.thealb.de" about the bird that gave me my first nick name: the Albatross. It's still a small site but I want to make it a source of information for those who are interested in those exciting animals.
And third: Do your remember the game "4-connect"? I found a wonderful javascript version and placed it at my games page. Have fun!

Replaced the old index page with the new layout. So the page you saw when you entered my website is the new layout already. I plan to put the navigation column on the left onto all the non-frames pages. Please tell me what you think about it.

Started working on a different layout for the index page. Until now things don't look bad but I'm not finished with it yet.

Long time no here *grins* - Haven't done much on the pages since March, due to major renovations on my garden. Lately, I added German translations to the graphics section and - more exciting - links to the English or German versions of the respective pages where possible. So from now on you will be able to hop from the English to the German version site by clicking on those little text links on the upper right corner of the page you're on. Most of the pages, that is, because for the private section and Hamburg section I only placed links on the entry pages which should do the job (and makes it a littlebit easier for me: linking from the other pages would be a heck of a job).

Added a lot of books to my Terry Pratchett page (Terry Pratchett)and worked on the main page at Main page.

Worked on the store pages (store entry page)and changed a link on the index page (Lonely Planet Germany 2000 at Index page).
The store pages: added newer search boxes to Amazon. If you are on a cd page you'll find special music search boxes, and on books pages there are books search boxes. On the first page you can use a search box for everything sold at Amazon.
AND I added some new cds on st1.html and a great book on Paint Shop Pro 6 on st3.html.

It's been a long time since I had a look at my help links at http://www.oocities.org/~the_alb/urls_alt.html, and since then lots of changes have occurred. I added a couple of things, deleted others to keep it alive, so there you go. I hope you find the help on html, Geocities, Graphics, Pagebuilding or even (that's new) Network configuration.

Isn't it amazing? It's 2000, January too, and nothing has stopped working, no Russian rocket has been launched yet (and no US either), and life still sort of goes on!!!

There's a new page full of background graphics in my graphics section plus I changed the style of the graphics entrance page.
