Okay, if you insist!

Actually, in searching the Web for WUFF, I found a lot of material which didn't fit into any of the categories above -- or which fit into ALL of them at once!

Take food, for instance.

Now put that back! I didn't mean literally!

Where was I? Oh, yes, things on the web that can't be neatly categorized. Food is good, but of course it just wouldn't sound right to name the page GUFF -- or even WUG, for that matter.

But how many times have you gone to a personal web page and found out a LOT more about the person than you ever possibly wanted to know?

Or clicked on a link only to find yourself thinking, "What the heck am I doing HERE?"

Or maybe found yourself in a place that made you thankful that all these weirdos have computers to fiddle around with in the privacy of their own home, or else they might be out roaming the streets, pushing rusty grocery carts full of dirty clothes and carrying on loud, animated conversations with parked cars.

You know, the kind of people you figure are apt to die of gunshot wounds during spirited solitaire games.

I would never make mock of innocent victims, mind you, but let's just say that had he lived, Ed Wood, Jr., would have embraced the World Wide Web with all the passion he usually reserved for fuzzy pink Angora sweaters!

And so, speaking of Ed Wood, Jr., let's make people the subject of this first week's list.
