WHO ARE QUEEN?
Queen are a band that formed in 1971 and first released an album in 1973..
There were two albums released in 1973.. they were Queen I and Queen - live
at the beeb.. Up until 1991 with the release of the INNUENDO album which was
the last album produced by Queen before Freddie Mercury passed away, now
in 1995 Queen has released a new album.. called 'Made In Heaven'.
This album contains pre-recorded vocals by Freddie before his death in 1991
and after hearing the single 'Heaven For Everyone' I cannot wait to hear
it as I have played the new single over and over.. a sound which I just love..
Alot of Queen fans complaining that the new single was a little overdone, I
disagree.. its absolutely amazing... but I cannot compare it to any of Queens
earlier styles... I hope it charts here in Australia :)
The band consisted of:
Freddie Mercury : Lead Vocals & Keyboards - Ocasionally some guitar.
Brian May : Guitars, Keyboards, Harmonies & Vocals.
Roger Taylor : Drums, Percussion, Keyboards, Harmonies & Vocals.
John Deacon : Bass Guitar & Keyboards.
A SAD LOSS FOR THE ROCK INDUSTRY IN 1991:
In 1991 Freddie Mercury passed away as a result of the AIDS illness..
Queen's 'Innuendo' album was the last one that Freddie Mercury recorded
for before he died..
The album 'Made In Heaven' will be a MUST for all Queen fans...
The single 'Heaven for Everyone' was released here in Australia
and I have bought my copy :)
