Colorado Highways

Well, that's the sign that welcomed us to the state of
Colorado this year. |

Colorado had one of the nicest welcome centers we
had visited.

We saw many interesting things on the road:
For example, there were bugs . . .
And sometimes we got in dorkie moods . . .
|
We saw a live bait vending machine. |
|
And I got to read lots of great literature.
|

Pooka was a strange passenger . . .
I sometimes wonder what goes on in the minds of animals
. . .
We went through a really interesting tunnel west of the
Continental Divide that seemed to be color coded . .
.
| As we got closer to the border, we had an awful time
looking for a place to spend the night. Steamboat Springs had several
places, all filled up. Eventually, we found a place in the middle
of the night with locked toilets. We took these pictures as we drove
from campgound to campground, searching for vacancies. |
But by the next day, we were on the road to Utah . . .
