Colorado Highways
Well, that's the sign that welcomed us to the state of Colorado this year.
Colorado had one of the nicest welcome centers we had visited.

We saw many interesting things on the road:

For example, there were bugs . . .

And sometimes we got in dorkie moods . . .

We saw a live bait vending machine.
And I got to read lots of great literature.

Pooka was a strange passenger . . .

I sometimes wonder what goes on in the minds of animals . . .

We went through a really interesting tunnel west of the
Continental Divide that seemed to be color coded . . .

As we got closer to the border, we had an awful time looking for a place to spend the night.  Steamboat Springs had several places, all filled up.  Eventually, we found a place in the middle of the night with locked toilets.  We took these pictures as we drove from campgound to campground, searching for vacancies.

But by the next day, we were on the road to Utah . . .
