Blessed with hot sunny weather
all year round, white
sandy beaches and plenty of coconut trees, Boracay
Island has been called by many as paradise come true.
Just 7 kilometers long by 1 kilometer wide, Boracay
Island was virtually unheard of until the 1970's when it
was discovered by backpackers. At that early stage,
knowledge of Boracay Island's existence was limited to
Europeans visitors. Boracay Island has since developed
into a world class tourist destination, catering to both
local and foreign tourists. It has accommodations to suit
all budgets and tastes and offers a wide variety of
restaurants and bars serving local and international
cuisine. There are a lot of activities to engage in while
on the island. Daytime activities include sailing,
windsurfing, scuba diving and waterskiing. Those who
would like to stay-up longer at night would not be
disappointed with Boracay Island's active nightlife.
