Hi.
You have a nicely laid out home page. Congratulations. I was looking for a Mich map that would show the area where my brother, from Chicago, has recently bought land, Near the towns of Au Train and Deerton, in a development called Shelter Bay. Anyway, when I saw Mr. Scuba I couldn't resist. I've lived on the island of Guam for nearly 30 years. I worked in the scuba tour industry as an instructor (since 1972) and tour guide for Micronesia. I took the first 'organized' dive tours of tourists from the continental U.S. to the Island of Palau. I've made about 1,000 dives in Palau alone and twice that in other Micronesian areas. I get to do this because I'm afull time free-lance, stock photography photojournalist. That means that, like you, I love being in the water and taking pictures, and have been able to make a living out of it by traveling, shooting and writing for travel magazines. If you like I'll send you some of the stories I've written. Please feel free to browse my home page. There aren't a lot of underrwater shots in it right now but that will be changing soon. The images have to support sales first, then fun.
BTW: One of your pix is mis-identified. The MedusaWorm is actually a Sea Cucumber. As such it is an Echinoderm (spiny skin) (It's spines are in the form of 'spicules' little bits of sharp calcium buried in it's skin) and is a close relative of starfish, sea urchins, Crinioids and Basket Stars. Sea Cucumbers are interesting critters. They are like the earth-worms of the ocean, constantly turning over the sand, eating organic matter, cleaning up and aerating the environment. Many have algaes that live in their tissues. The photosysthesis uses some of the Cucumber's waste products forfood and produces Oxygen and carbohydrates. Giant clams and hard corals do the same thing.
I'm very interested in your overhead environment diving. I'm a cave instructor and am always interested in any equipment modifications or advances. Any questions you have about my area? At your service, Mitch Warner
BTW, I'm about 9 hours earlier than you, and a day ahead. Whenever you get to doubting if there will be a tomorrow, remember, it already IS tomorrow where I am.
Mitch

Do you have any information that will help with equalizing? The ear
doctor has told me that as long as I can equalize at the surface I
should be able to equalize as I dive. I have had several problems and
could not dive west palm beach last weekend because of it. Some one
suggested that I try using 40mg. of prendisone the day before I dive
and 20mg. before the next day. can you help me with this problem, or
offer some constructive advise?
