I was born and bred in one of the largest cities in the US--houston, Texas (that's right a native texan--and sometimes naive too) on June 16, 1972. I have had some college (lacking about 35 hours for a degree in Accounting) and right now I am working as a temporary (mainly in an office setting).

My first time being online (sorta) was in college (fall 1995) and the extent of it was email. The next spring I got up the guts to take in a seminar about the internet and that's when I jumped in with both feet. I started with just surfing and chatting and then July 1996 I decided to start my own site.

I am a self taught html-er (with the help of various friends over the years). I would love to get paid to sit around and html, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Summer of 1997, I started doing my own simple graphics (even though I can't draw). My personal opinion is website design and HTML should be fun. When it starts to feel like a chore, you should step back from it for a little until it's fun again. (Trust me I have had to do this many times in the past--one time lasted at least 6 months.)
