I hesitate to put such a stupid title on a page about the great state of Iowa, but unfortunately our state tourist board didn't come up with anything better as a slogan. This is my way of paying homage to the worst tourist welcome signs in the Union. A half of asmiling head and a pointless slogan.

Despite all of that, Iowa really is a great place. Anyone who doesn't see the beauty inherent in this state isn't looking hard enough. Check out the photo to the right, for example, taken at Fogle Recreation Area in Diagonal, Iowa.
