Well, not only can he do American but also English - more or less! Saw AL in Frasier - very cool, very funny and almost nude, but I'm sorry, as a Brit I have to take issue with his accent, which at times was very ropey! A shame because otherwise he was th best thing about these episodes! Good to see him cropping up in stuff like Summer of Sam as well, although we don't get as much of his stuff over here as I'd like. Keep up the good work, Anthony, and all the best in the future.

Dear Anthony, My name is April, Im 25yrs old...and I had a frightening experience 3 years ago. I was in a car wreck. The driver was going 96 mph in a Ford Espire & hit a tree head on after spinnine & skidding a length of a football field in East Texas. I was the pass nger in that car. The driver was killed & both my leggs were broken.The two months that lay ahead for me were filled with (mostly morphine) & mours of thinking I would never be able to meet you some day standing on my own. Well....Dear Anthony....I can no stand...and walk & run. The miracle of surgery has made me almost good as new. Other than a couple of 3 inch scars on my hips...(and the reminder of rods in my leggs) I am better than ever. Now ....all I need to complete my recovery is to have some small faint little response from you. Im not some insaine woman that will stalk you. Im just a li'l girl from Texas that almost died without ever hearing from my one favorite actor. I just bought "29th Street" on laserdisc. I had only seen this movie in a cut version on broadcast television. I don't think I stopped laughing once during this whole movie until basically the end when it turned somewhat emotional and serious. It was o e of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Being a Brooklyn born native, it was true to the area of New York in its' characterizations, life style, and humour. Mr. LaPaglia is outstanding in this movie. He is hysterical in some scenes, and his line deliv ries are hilarious. For any of you who have not seen it, rent it or just buy it! You won't be sorry!!!!

Mr. LaPaglia is one of the few truely great actors we have today. They are so few and far between. He left me so totally blown away after A View From the Bridge. I was lucky enough to meet him at the stage door. I was pretty nervous, but he joked and ade you fell at ease. He was really pleasant and nice to everyone, and signed everyone's programs. That is a sign of gifted and talented performer. He deserves every accolade and recognition he gets. If he hadn't gotten the Tony Award for his performan e , it would have been a grave injustice! Can't wait until he comes back to Braodway again.

I just returned from seeing "A View From a Bridge," and was astonished at Mr. LaPaglia's performance. I saw him in person for the first time when he was doing "The Rose Tattoo" with Mercedes Ruehl and I had hardly known who he was. Now, I can't wait for his name to turn up on a new TV show, movie or playbill. His power & natural charisma come across so effortlessly in his performances. (And I've heard he's a joy to work with as well) I'll never forget how kind he was to all the "little people" waiting outside in the rain for his autograph today after the sho . Completely at ease, in no rush to prove how important he was, just pleasant & thankful for all the praise & attention. I thought I appreciated his talent before... But he just keeps amazing & impressing me. Kudos on a wonderful performance!!! I look forward to many more.

I watched Anthony LaPaglia in his stint in Murder One. He was really great and I am sorry that the show was cancelled. I also enjoyed him in Trees Lounge, One Good Cop. Betsy's Wedding, and...a bunch of other things becuase I have seen him a lot. I wish h m luck with his career. Please visit my site. It has a vague tie with Murder One if you look hard enough. Really have liked this actor ever since I saw Betsy's Wedding. Each film is so different and yet his quality acting shines, whether a hero or villain. I was surprised to hear he was Australian, because he does American so well! Can't make it to New York. Can he bring the show to Boston?? Keep up the good work.

I think Anthony LaPaglia is a fantastic actor although not well known. Most people recognize his face but can't remember what is name is or where they have seen him. He was very accessible when I introduced myself to him in NY in December. Mr LaPaglia was the first celebrity I have wanted to meet and his gracious nature convinced me that I will be a fan for life!!
