All about our boys...:}
We have three adorable boys, Dylan, Kyler and Taran. Please read on to find out more about them. As they get older they will be updating this page more and possible start a page of their own. You can also view pictures through our photo album.
Our oldest is , he was born on May 19, 1992
. He is attending First Grade and is the best big brother. He's really a big help around the house. Some things Dylan loves: dinosaurs
, trains, legos, airplanes(of course), playing with friends, getting dirty, bugs(ewww), and he loves pizza...(wonder where he got that one from). Dylan is also going to be involved in track through his school. He enjoys sports, such as, soccer and swimming.
Our middle is , he was born on June 28, 1994
. Kyler is currently attending Kindergarten. He likes to stay really close to home, his favorite passtimes are watching tv, and sitting in my lap. He does have a some of the same interest as Dylan though, such as trains, legos, trucks
and dinosaurs. He also if very fond of horses.
I would have to say as far as food goes, he really doesnt like anything but noodles:) Kyler will also be involved in track this Spring. He really loves to play soccer, basketball and swimming.
Our youngest is , he was born on June 14, 1995
. Taran might be the youngest, but he's definately meaner and tougher than his brothers. He learned quickly that he had to stand up for what he wanted. Basically he likes just tormenting Dylan and Kyler, and then getting them into trouble for it:) Taran is currently attending Preschool.
Having the kids has always been a joy and a lot of hard work. Sometimes now I look back on when it was just one and wish things could be that easy again. Having the last two so close together made it seem like they were twins. Oh and you better believe I got asked that question all the time whenever I went anywhere, since they all look so much alike. When it really comes down to it the boys are the joy of my life.
Watching my kids grow up and seeing how they associate to the world around them has been and continues to be the most exciting thing. For them I have included and dedicated this poem that I found and love.
When children are playing alone on the green,
In comes the playmate that never was seen.
When children are happy and lonely and good,
The Friend of the Children comes out of the wood.
Nobody heard him and nobody saw,
His is a picture you never could draw,
But he's sure to be present, abroad or at home,
When children are happy and playing alone.
He lies in the laurels, he runs on the grass,
He sings when you tinkle the musical glass;
Whene'ver you are happy and cannot tell why,
The Friend of the Children is sure to be by!
He loves to be little, he hates to be big,
'Tis he that inhabits the caves that you dig;
'Tis he when you play with your soldiers of tin
That sides with the Frenchmen and never can win.
'Tis he,when at night you go off to your bed,
Bids you go to your sleep and not trouble your head;
For wherever they're lying, in cupboard or shelf,
'Tis he will take care of your playthings himself!
-Robert Louis Stevenson
