I took this one while eating dinner at a restaurant in South Padre Island, Texas.

This was taken as the sun set behind the hills of the Missouri ozarks in November.

I took this one of a dead cypress tree in Monterrey, California with the bright colors in the background.

Also taken from Monterrey, the colors of this shot are amazing.

I took this photo of distant cumulus clouds from my front porch.  Rich pinks and purples such as the ones in this photo are pretty rare for midwest sunsets.

I really wish my parents weren't in the way of this shot.  The luminous colors of this South Padre Island sunset are spectacular.

This was taken along I-25 north of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  The rays shooting out from the clouds made this the most exciting part of the drive.

Also taken from my front porch, I love the way the colors in the sky make the snow on the ground glow a lavender color.

I don't know what it is about Los Angeles that makes the sun set so odd.  Here you can see how it bends out of shape while my dad and sister enjoy the cool ocean waters of Redondo Beach, California.

This is actually a sun rise over South Padre Island, Texas, while I was out for a morning walk.

Also shot from South Padre Island, you can see the rain over the Gulf of Mexico glowing pink.

I thought these fish would provide an interesting foreground for this sunrise over Virginia Beach, Virginia.  I also like how the couple is sillouhetted in the background.

I actually took this photo from our hotel room in San Francisco, California.

This is a picture of mammatus clouds at sunset.  I don't know why the leaves in the corner are blue.

Shot from Bridgepointe, a resort in South Padre Island, I like the way the weeds are sillouhetted.
