The island Lesvos - Northern Eagean Sea

Lesvos is the third largest island of Greece with nice beaches like:

• North  : Anaxos, Avlakia, Petra, Molivos, Eftalou, Skala Sikaminia
• South : Skala Kalloni, Plomari, Skala Eressou, Plomari
• East.  : Mitilini, Skala Mistegnon, Paralis Thermis
• West  : Sigri

Nice places and villages to visit:

• Molivos, Mitilini, Petra (the rock)
• Stipsi for honey and Moria for the aquaduct
• Ther are more then six hot springs
• There are petrified trees near Sigri and one between Petra and Molivos
• Boattrips from Mitilini to Skala Eressou or from Molivos to Skala Sikaminia and back

A novel set on the Greek islands of Mykonos and Delos and I am trying to place it on pages visited by people who plan to go to Greece.  This novel is a magical love story with the poetry of Sappho at its center.  It is written by Aurelia Smeltz  and beautifully illustrated by Bill Papas, a famous Greek artist who was a cartoonist for the Sunday London Times. In addition to being a fine love story, this novel has a good deal of practical information on travelling to Greece and the islands.
