THERE IS NOTHING THAT A PERSON CAN DO TO TOTALLY PREVENT BEING ATTACKED, HURT, OR KILLED. ALL THAT CAN BE DONE IS LOWER THE CHANCES OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENING.
 
 THE EASIEST WAY TO LOWER THE CHANCES OF BEING ATTACKED, IS TO CONTROL YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND ATTITUDE.

 A PERSON THAT STAYS AT HOME, ONLY LEAVES TO GO TO WORK, THEN RETURNS DIRECTLY HOME. HAS A FAR LESS CHANCE OF BEING ATTACKED THAN A PERSON WHO  HANGS OUT ON A STREET CORNER ON THE BAD PART OF TOWN,  LATE AT NIGHT, EVERY DAY. NOW I AM NOT SAYING THE FEAR CONTROL WHAT YOU DO TO THE POINT YOU ONLY STAY AT HOME. THE POINT IS BE AWARE  OF THE DANGERS IN EVERY ENVIRONMENT THAT YOU GO INTO.

  A PERSON WHO AS A VICTIMS ATTITUDE IS FAR MORE LIKELY TO BE ATTACKED. A VICTIMS ATTITUDE IS DISPLAYED IN MANY WAYS FROM  THE WAY THEY WALK, TO THE WAY THEY DRESS, ACT, AND TALK. A PERSON THAT SLOWLY SHUFFLES WHEN THEY WALK. HAS THEIR SHOULDERS SLUMPED, HEAD DOWN, AVOIDING EYE CONTACT, AND ACTING PANICKED WHEN APPROACHED BY A STRANGERS. MIGHT AS WELL  HAVE A SIGN SAYING;: ATTACK ME I AM AN EASY TARGET!!

 IN RANDOM ATTACKS THE ATTACKER CHOOSES HIS VICTIMS WITH IN TEN SECONDS. WHO WOULD YOU ATTACK? THE WEAK LOOKING GUY WITH THE VICTIM'S ATTITUDE? OR THE GUY WHO IS WALKING CONFIDENTLY, WITH HIS HEAD UP. SHOULDERS BACK?
