Since many people have asked, and some have even been
offended by the name, I though I would try to provide
a quick (and painless) explaination...

Aboard the ship, as you may know, we have games every night.
Our teams name was the AFTHOLES...
We called ourselves the Aftholes because of a funny
comment made the first night out to sea.

"If a port hole is on the port side,
and if it is on the starboard side is it starboard hole?
Therefore, if its aft, isn't it an afthole?"

From that the name was born and was well known to
the crew and passengers during our trip...
