Me and My Best Friend,
Lori Halpain
Yes,
that's me in the sleeveless top. The other blonde is my best friend, Lori
Halpain. I met her while I was working as an Assistant Head Nurse and she
as a Nurse's Aide at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas in October
1990.
Lori introduced me to her brother, Don, in October 1993. He and I were
married in January 1995. She's still my best friend, in spite of that fact.
We keep in touch via phone and email (she still lives near Wichita) and we
see each other in person once or twice a year.
