Tropical Drinks 
Bahama Mama
1/2 oz. Lemon Juice |

2 oz. Orange Juice |
|
2 oz. Pineapple |
|
1 1/2 oz.Rum |
|
1 oz. Coconut Rum |
|
1/2 oz.Grenadine |
|
1/2 oz. Cherry liqueur |
Shake and strain into a large glass or mug. Garnish with a pineapple slice and a cherry.

Blue Margarita
1 1/2 oz. Tequilla |
|
1 oz. Blue Curacao |
|
1 oz. Lime Juice |
|
Instructions: |
Shake with ice and strain into a salt-rimmed cocktail glass.

Piņa Colada
| 8 fluid ounces Pineapple juice (preferably, of course, pineapple chunks from a fresh pineapple) | |
| 8 fluid ounces Coconut cream (available canned under several brand names. The best known is Coco Lopez, Real Cream of Coconut. | |
| 6 ounces Rum | |
| 3 to 4 cups of Ice | |
| Cherries | |
| Slices of pineapple, orange or lime | |
In a blender, grind ice while gradually adding the pineapple, coconut cream and rum. Alternatively, use shaved ice. The ice should be thick enough to hold a cherry on top without sinking in. Serve in a tall glass with a straw. Garnish with one cherry and a slice of fruit. Insert a paper umbrella for that additional tropical, exotic touch.
Omit the rum for a delicious non-alcoholic Piņa Colada.

Mai Tai
1 fluid ounce light rum 1/2 fluid ounce Triple Sec 1 fluid ounce lime juice or lemon juice 1 fluid ounce pineapple juice 2 fluid ounces orange juice a dash of Grenadine Shake all ingredients into an old-fashioned glass filled with crushed ice; top with 1/2 fluid ounce of dark rum.

Mango Flip

2 large mangoes, peeled and chopped |

6 oz white sugar |

4 oz sweetened condensed milk |
|
|
8 fluid oz. rum |
|
|
1 pint orange juice |
Instructions: Peel the mangoes, half and discard the stones. Blend the remaining ingredients for 2 minutes. Serve over ice. (Serves 3-4)

Frozen Daiquiri

6 fluid oz light rum |
|
|
1 fluid oz lime cordial |
|
|
3/4 pint ice |
Instructions: Blend all ingredients for 20 seconds. Pour into chilled glasses and serve. (serves 2)

Classic Planter's Punch
|
6 fluid oz dark rum |
|
|
2 fluid oz lime juice |
|
|
3 tbsp caster sugar |
|
|
a dash of Angostura bitters |
|
|
1/3 pint crushed ice |
Instructions: Shake all ingredients together. Divide between 2 chilled tumblers. Carefully pour 1 tbsp of rum on top of each drink with a spoon (so that the rum remains on top) Finish with a sprinkle of nutmeg and decorate with sliced fruit. (serves 2)
