Fr. Locatelli brought me to see 7 villages in the Baucau region.  On this tour I saw paddy planted with rice and lush green forests.  But he was quick to dispell the image before my eyes.  'This is the first time in years that it has rained like this' he explains.  'Sure, we have had luck in getting some fields planted in time but the rains caught many by surprise... and there is the military...'
