A great shot of the Thai national sport "Dtakraw".  Picture volleyball but only allowed to use your feet.  The net is far lower than that of volleyball, of course, BUT as this picture shows - you really have to be an acrobat!

The action of 'spiking' in dtakraw requires a full back flip - as the guy on the far side of the net is demonstrating in the pic. The guy in the forefront is blocking the spike.  What an incredible game to watch.  Have yet to dare even trying this one!

This photo was taken at THE ASIAN GAMES going on right now (11 - 19 Dec, 98).  Can't say which teams are playing but it is probably Thai and Indonesia.
