The Trip To Winthrop Washington
Here are the pictures I took on my way and there. For those of you without corrected gamma should adjust the brightness on your monitor if the pictures appear too dark.
The Sears Tower in Chicago, presently the third tallest office building in the world.
An interesting view of the AT&T Corporate Center near the Sears Tower.
A view of the Chicago River and the award winning building on the right is the 333 W. Wacker Drive. On the left foreground is the Merchandise Mart. In the back can be seen the Marina City Apartments and across another nice building called 225 West Washington Building.
Dry Falls, a massive ancient flood once flowed over these cliffs.
The original turbines of Grand Coulee Dam.
The tunnel located under the old spillways.
A symbolic jesture of peace between America and Canada. The statue has a mounty and a US ranger, er something, shaking hands.
Libertybell peak near Winthrop.
The Methow Valley, the location of Winthrop.
The mountains around Wenatchee in the early morning.
A photograph of the very busy downtown Winthrop during lunch.
Winthrop from Patterson Mountain.
