PALMC’s Incoming Board of Trustees

Greetings to PALMC members,
A general membership meeting was held last Saturday (
July 12, 2003 ) with the primary purpose of amending
the constitution. The main agenda was on electoral
reforms. Based on the agreed amendments, an election
was conducted for the incoming Board of Trustees.
The following are the highlights of the changes:
- That the number of trustees of trustees shall be
nine (9).
- That out of the nine trustees to be elected, there
must be at least two PAL employees and one of them is
qualified to be the Chairman of the Board.
- That the officers of the association shall be a
Chairman, a President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, and
an Auditor.
- That other than the Chairman and the President, who
must be members of the Board of Trustees, the other
positions mentioned are open to all bona fide members
of the asociation and are appointed by the Board of
Trustees.
- That all oficers of the association shall hold
office for two years and until their successors are
duly elected and qualified.
The following are the results of last Saturday's
elections (ranked according to number of votes).
1. John Fortes............44 votes
2. Banny Hermanos.........39 votes
3. Fabie Espino...........36 votes
4. Herr Obusan............33 votes
5. Rudy Bartolome.........31 votes
6. Elmer Cabotaje.........28 votes (tied for 6th)
Russel Aguinaldo.......28 votes
7. Larry Honoridez........26 votes
8. Dexter Macapagal.......21 votes
9. Danny Cruz.............20 votes (tied for 9th)

10. Arlene dela Cruz.......19 votes
11. Danny Montaniel........18 votes

Based on the results above, the incoming members of the Board of Trustees are the top nine (9) people.
