Hi, I guess I have already told you my name, so no need to repeat that now.

You also know by now that I am from Egypt, the land of the many wonders, and endless treasures, both ancient and contemporary.

I was born on June 19^th, 1959.

I grew up in Cairo, my favorite city in the whole world.

I have travelled to many countries across the globe , and have seen many wonderful places, lots of experiences and fantastic memories, you can say I am a man of the world, yet I really do respect whoever said that "there is no place like home".

Among the personal things I am most proud of,and enjoy talking about, is the book I have written on the World Trade Organization - WTO - and its latest package of agreements, which is known as " The Uruguay Round Agreements".

The book is titled:

It is a comprehensive analysis of the agreements, and their probable impact on the world economy, developing world, Arab countries, and of course, a detailed analysis on Egypt.

Unfortunately, from the Web point of view, the book is in Arabic language, so it could'nt be much use for many of my guests.

However, I still have my hopes high on the possibility of me translating the book into English, and may be then I can put some excerpts from it on the web.

Apart from that , I enjoy doing alot of activities, I like reading, writing, music, swimming, playing tennis, beach and open air, I also love Oil painting, and you may find a number of my paintings on this site, and I have had the luck to write some Poems, which can also be found here, so I do hope you enjoy both.
