The Dominican Republic
Enjoy some of the sites

I've been to the Dominican for two separate vacations now. Each time I try and see more beautiful places. The Dominican population is mostly spanish speaking, so it would be a good idea to have some background in it. But the friendly environment will most likely be just as inviting without it.
My first scuba diving experience was in the Dominican 6 years ago. The waters there are warm, and the array of fish to see are wide and wonderful. These are some shots I took while snorkelling off Sosua beach.

Ironically, both times I have visited, I've stayed at the same place, the Sand Castle Resort, in Sosua. Here are some shots of the hotel.

Here's one of those beautiful places I mentioned earlier. This is Cabarete beach. Known for some of the best windsurfing waves in the world. We were there for 2 days. the first day was the day of the full eclipse! A little bit of advice:don't learn how to boogie board the day of a full eclipse, the waves are monstrous!
