The OZ-06MS2 Leo Kai was an attempt to make a design that was more of a mass-produced version of the OZ-00MS Tallgeese than the standard Leo had turned out to be. The shoulder thrusters of the Tallgeese were added onto the design, giving it far superior maneuverability and speed over the standard Leo. However, in an attempt to counter the problem with the original Tallgeese being too fast and maneuverable for most pilots to handle, the thruster output of the shoulder binders was reduced considerably. The end result is a unit that fits about half-way between the standard Leo and the Tallgeese, in terms of performance. However, extremely few Leo Kais were ever produced before the end of the wars, and those that did get made ended up being coveted items for high-ranking mobile suit aces. Note: This design was inspired/requested by "LeoCommander" on the Gundam Watch Forums |

The Tragos Space Type, was designed as a space-use analogue of the standard Tragos; being basically a heavier-armored Leo, and a fire-support unit for Leos. With the Space Leo's back-mounted array of rockets and verniers, the Space Tragos can perform the normal Tragos' duties in space, as well. For example, as a heavier-armored analogue of the Leo, or when the optional cannons are mounted, as fire-support for Space Leos, or Tauruses. However, unlike the standard ground-use Tragos, the Space Tragos rarely used a hoversled (because it was useless in space,) although it could use one if it ever had to opperate on the ground. Although it performed quite well in its intended role, very few Space Types were made of the Tragos.

Yes, I know my Heink Ittens character is supposed to be a character from the Universal Century universe, but I really like his blue and silver color scheme, and I wanted to see what it'd look like on an OZ-12SMS Taurus, despite the mobile suit being from one universe, and its intended pilot from another. This particular Taurus could only exist in the multi-universe-spanning strategy games such as SD Gundam: G Generation Neo, and not in the normal After Colony universe.

The Beam Rifle of the OZ-13SMS Gemini
The precursor to the OZ-13MSX1 Vayeate and the OZ-13MSX2 Mercurius, the OZ-13SMS Gemini was the basic mobile suit that the two were based off of.
The OZ-13SMS Gemini was originally a competitor with the OZ-12SMS Taurus for OZ's new space-use mobile suit. The requirements given by the commanding OZ personnel overseeing the competition, were for the new mobile suits to be able to carry a new type of heavy beam cannon, and they had to have a long-range transport, in order to save the mobile suit's own fuel for long-distance traveling. Because of the Gemini's two back-mounted hardpoints, it was able to store this heavy beam cannon horizontally across its back. (The Taurus stored the heavy beam cannon in a similar manner, on its rear waist.) For more standard weaponry, the Gemini was usually equipped with a beam rifle, but it could also be fitted with the Leo's shoulder-mounted shield, and the two beam sabers which are stored on it. However, when it came to the transport requirement, the Gemini was inferior to the Taurus. The Taurus Cruiser had been designed to carry three Taurus suits, while the OZ-13X Shuttle could only carry two Geminis. This meant that greater numbers of OZ-13X Shuttles had to be produced, compared to the number of Taurus Cruisers needed to transport an equal amount of mobile suits. (The Geminis had to lay face-down on their shuttle, so that there was room for anything they might be carrying on their back hardpoints.) The other main problem that doomed the Gemini Project, actually came about due to an area in which the Gemini was superior to the Taurus; its armor. Since the Gemini used the expensive Gundanium Alloy for its armor, it could take far more damage than the Taurus. The Gemini also had a retractable face-shield. This shield helped protect the suit's main camara from projectiles, such as space debry and small-calibre bullets. Although because the face-shield restricted the suits peripheral "vision," it was retracted when not directly engaged in combat. This allowed for normal viewing range at longer distances, while still allowing for increased protection of the main camara when in harm's way. However, all this Gundanium alloy, and extra accessories, meant that the cost of producing the Gemini was far greater than of the Taurus, (which used a standard titanium alloy,) despite the Taurus' transformation abilities. Because the OZ military prefered quantity over quality, these problems of production costs, caused the Gemini project to be cancelled. For the new-suit competition, two Gemini units and a single OZ-13X Shuttle had been created. These two were the only Gemini units ever produced, while the winner of the competition, the OZ-12SMS Taurus, went on to full-scale mass-production. The two Gemini units and their shuttle weren't completely scrapped, however. They were both later resurrected and modified into the Vayeate and Mercurius test-beds used by the five scientists who created the Gundams. (This is why the Gemini looks like a stripped-down version of both.) In addition to altering the suits themselves, the Gemini's weaponry was altered as well. One of the Gemini beam rifles, and the optional shoulder-mounted Leo Shield were given to the Mercurius. The beam rifle was downgraded to reduce power consumption, while the shield was re-enforced and had a beam saber emmiter installed, to become the Crash Shield. After the OZ-13MSX1 Vayeate and OZ-13MSX3 Mercurius units were developed, the Gemini's model number was retro-actively changed from OZ-13SMS, to OZ-13MSX0, in order to match the model numbers of the new versions that they'd been turned into. |

OZ-13MSX3 Arreton (aka Manned Prototype-Virgo) |
|
![]() |
The OZ-13MSX3 Arreton was a combination of the Vayeate and Mercurius, with both significant offensive, and defensive capabilities. To save costs on what was to be a mass-produced unit, the beam cannon was smaller, and fewer Planet Defensors were kept on the design. Also, the Planet Defensors, and the beam cannon's reactor, were stored in large domes on top of the unit's shoulders, rather than on its back, in order to help distribute the unit's mass more toward its center. (Two normal beam sabers were housed on the back racks, instead.)
However, the Arreton was never constructed; the creation of mobile dolls significantly changed the project. Without the need for a pilot, a unit could be manufactured cheaper, put into service quicker, and OZ didn't need to spend the money to train, feed, clothe, and house its human pilot. With that thought, the cockpit was removed from the Arreton's design, and after a few other alterations, the unit became the OZ-02MD Virgo Mobile Doll. |

XXGM-01D GM Deathscythe
![]() |
The XXGM-01D GM Deathscythe was the mass-production version of the XXXG-01D Gundam Deathscythe. Like the GM Sandrock, the GM Deathscythe is actually based on the same frame as the XXGM-01H GM HeavyArms, despite its name of "Deathscythe." The GM Deathscythe is designed for armed scouting and hit-and-run attacks in space, and is lightly-armed in order to achieve this purpose. The shoulder domes of the GM HeavyArms have been removed, in order to mount secondary thrusters, to give the suit more speed. The standard weapons of the GM Deathscythe include the same fixed head vulcans, chest gatlings, and shoulder missles of the GM HeavyArms, and for hand-held weapons, it also typically uses the same beam submachine gun as the GM Sandrock. For defense and melee combat, the GM Deathscythe mounts the same Buster Shield used by the Gundam Deathcythe. When opened, the Buster Shield wields two metal blades, and a single beam blade. In this configuration, the Buster Shield can be launched at an enemy unit, for a longer range of melee combat. However, this is typically only done at times when the GM Deathscythe is out of ammo for its guns, and being attacked by an enemy suit, but can't stay around long enough to get close and use the Buster Shield's blades normally, (in order to avoid enemy reenforcements, or it obtained some very important information that needs to be relayed as soon as possible, or some other reason that prohibits it sticking around in battle.) |

XXGM-01H GM HeavyArms | ||

![]() |
The XXGM-01H GM HeavyArms is the mass-production version of the XXXG-01H Gundam HeavyArms. Although it retains the single beam gatling, twin chest gatlings, head vulcans, and Army Knife like the original Gun- dam HeavyArms, all the missles found on the original Gundam HeavyArms, (the 6 shoulder- mounted heat-seaking missles and the 24 leg- mounted micro-missles,) have been removed, and the shoulder cannons have been replaced with homing missles like those on the Gundam SandRock. Because the shoulders aren't used to store missles anymore, they've been altered dramatically for use in close combat situations, and are now studded with spikes. There is a special Commander-use version of this suit, that replaces the right arm and its Army Knife, with an extendable Dragon Fang arm, like the kind seen on the Shenlong Gundam. Occas- ionally, Commander-use GM HeavyArms were modified, to better suit its particular pilot. One example of a customization, is the yellow suit seen below, which adds a holster for a beam pistol on its right hip, and a beam halberd is stored on its backpack, in a retracted form. (Note: Despite occasionally being translated as "halberd," the Shenlong's staff weapon is a naginata, and is a totally different weapon.) |

XXGM-01H-C GM HeavyArms Cannon |
|
![]() |
The GM HeavyArms Cannon is a fire-support version of the standard GM HeavyArms, that mounts an over-the-shoulder 180mm cannon. The shoulder-mounted heat-seeking missles have been removed, and a machine cannon is instead mounted on its left shoulder. (The 180mm cannon doesn't allow a machine cannon on the right shoulder.) For defense, it retains the chest gatlings, the head vulcans, and the forearm-mounted Army Knife. Since it isn't normally equipped with the beam gatling, it usually has a throwable forearm shield, based on the Gundam Shenlong's. The standard color scheme of the GM HeavyArms Cannon is the same as the Roll-Out color scheme of the standard GM HeavyArms. |

XXGM-01SR GM SandRock | ||
![]() |
The XXGM-01SR GM SandRock is the mass-production version of the XXXG-01SR Gundam SandRock. Despite being named after the Gundam SandRock, it only resembles it externally. Internally, it's built on the same frame as the XXGM-01H GM HeavyArms. Because of this, the GM SandRock also has the same chest gatlings, shoulder missles, and head vulcans as the GM HeavyArms suits, although it lacks the Army Knife, and the spiked Shoulder Domes. The Shoulder Domes were removed, in order to install heat disapation units, to help keep the unit cool in the heat of the desert environments it'd been designed to opperate in. However, it's actually just designed to support teams of GM HeavyArms in desert environments, rather than act as the sole mobile suit opperating within the desert. Because of its close-support role, the GM SandRock is rarely armed with the GM HeavyArms' Beam Gatling and Shield, although it can use it, if required. Instead, the typical armament of the GM SandRock is a Beam SubMachine Gun, and the same type of shield as the Gundam SandRock. Although the GM SandRock lacks the GM HeavyArms' Army Knife, it stores a Heat Shotel on the left side of its backpack. This gives the GM SandRock superior melee combat skills, compared to the GM HeavyArms and GM Deathscythe.

Note regarding the above "AC GMs"
None of my AC GMs are 100% serious designs. These designs fall into a strange area inbetween my normal serious designs, and my wholely silly/joke designs. They were created to be as realistic, technology-wise, as their universe allows, but they don't really fit into that universe, in any way at all. (They were also created as a way of toning down the original Gundams. Notice that they're significantly less powerful than their Gundam counter-parts.) Aside from the problem of GMs being a UC idea, there was never a reason, nor really an ability, for the space colonies to create mass-produced variants of their Gundams. At best, they'd exist within an alternate time-line of the AC universe, who's history is vastly different from the one seen in the "Gundam Wing" anime.
