The stranger, Tal, is very short, even for an elf, only about 5' tall when standing really straight. He has piercing blue eyes, and the permanent crinkles of a mischievious smile. His clothing consists of a suit of well-worn, vbut well cared for leather armor and a battered traveling cloak. He wears a shortsword at his hip, though you feel queasy going near it, as if the thign were going to bite you. He also carries a multitude of daggers in various locations. He looks like the sort of kid you used to pick on as a child...
