Comments: Well, another day another post. How is it going friend? I've gotten more responses from my little post on the wall then I expected. I may (though I'm not sure yet) continue working on my maze, but I'm hoping ppl will read this post and give me some ideas on how to turn my so called application into a game. I don't want to add bad guys, I want this "game" to be fun for the whole family. If anyone has ideas, please post them here, on the wall, or email me. Thanks everyone, Cragmyre!

Comments: Martin, May I assure you that Bob the Glob is definitely NOT a clone of Rob the Glob. For a start Mr Lees isn't conected to the Internet, plus this game has been in the works since January of last year. So it is nothing but a coincidence, not to worry! Thanks for stopping by anyway. -Martin

Comments: This is more addressed to Mr. Lee rather then Mr. Braid... I released a game entitled Rob the Blob in August of 96. It was a demo of the full screen scrolling of abilities of C&C. It included some original graphics and of course all original music... I can't help but notice the similarity in title of the up coming release of Bob the Glob. I realize that subscribers to the theory of the Jungian mass conscious would assert that we are simply tapping into the same creative portion of the human psyche. However, I feel somewhat uncomfortable having two productions with such similiar titles. peace, mmason

Comments: It looks pretty bad for Omega Four. It's release isn't going to be for ages, due to major graphical design changes, lack of ideas and, uhm, me being lazy. In the meantime, hold on for Thorpey's ALIEN WAR, and various Stick and gerbil-based games (Not my fault! Martin's making them! I couldn't stop him!! :)) from JODMOFOCTOR and it's subdivisions. Hey, we could do with a little help over a technical dilemma here, too: Should Omega Four be fast-scrolling but cack-looking 320x200 resolution graphics, or hi-res but slow as hell 640x480. As the main artist and designer I really want to make an impact with the graphics, but the game's no use if it moves like a snail on valium, because speed is an integral part in the way a game plays, and playability is the main issue, but graphics complement it and also add a lot to the game. There must be some kind of compromise to reach using TGF. But does anyone know how to get there? We don't usually ask for technical help, especially on Post Pages, but I think the people who play the games we make should have more of a say in the creation of the games we make. I mean, you are who we're making them for! Well, that's about it. Ah'll be riding on outta here now. -Jinx

Comments: Chris, my page isn't all that big. The whole thing is only 300k and Geocities provide 2 megs! Also, this form is a Guestbook from Lpage and not actually at Geocities. You can get one at http://www.Lpage.com/ Hope that helps, and thanks for stopping by! -Martin

Comments: Well, this is impressive. Keep up the good work, Martin! And I sincerely hope that your MIDI program starts working right, and keeps it that way. I'm sure your talent will help me make Fate 2 a little more interesting, at least in the music department. Should anyone care, I have two screen shots of the Fate 2 beta version right now - simply ask me and I'll mail them to you. Well, that's about it for now. Havoc out.
