Welcome to the shortest review yet. Turner Around the World is presented by Anthea Turner and it involves her being in a mystery location each week. She makes 3 films from each location and you've got to phone up and guess where she is. After each film they give a 'viewers countdown' of the five most selected places at the moment (a quite clever idea wasted on a bad show). After the three films there would be a live band (quite good actually, in the first three weeks they've had The Bee Gees, Wet Wet Wet and Alisha's Attic).
After this one randomly selected caller from all the right answers must answer a question based on one of the films. If they are wrong they move to another caller but if they are right they win a pair of round the world holiday tickets.
And that's it really. Anthea Turner carries it along but the underlying fact is the show is naff.
Uppers: Well, the Top 5 bit is original.
Downers: Just about everything else.
VERDICT: 2/10 - It's just rubbish. Life imprisonment means Life.
