Westwood is currently working on Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Command & Conquer came out last year and has been thaught to be one of the best War games of all time because of the really time fighting. You are not limited to how many men you have and moves. Blizzard chalenged Westwood when they introducted Warcraft 2. Warcraft 2 is aright but who whants to fight orc's with primative wepons like an axe. When you have men who carry around bazooka's, or build a Temple of NOD building your troops up waiting for the moment the Nuke is ready to reign havack on you enemy.
Here's a trick for the multipayer game: 1) go into a file named Conquer.ini 2) scroll down untill you find Side=1 under [multiplayer] 2) change Side=1 into Side=3
When you play your friend C&C you have both NOD and GDI options.

CCMISS Lets you jump to the different NOD & GDI missions.

CCMONEY Let's you add as much tiberium as you would like to any of your saved games. At the DOS prompt, type ccmoney savegame.### where ### is the number of your saved game. then type in the amount of cash you need.

Tips

1) You want to know how to make an infinite amount miniguners using only a guard tower, SAM sites, turrets, etc...? Here's how, you take a guard tower and sell it, then the miniguners will pour out, then quickly, select the guard tower and press "S" to stop selling it. Do this over and over until you have the desired amount of miniguners.

2) You can also use the technique above for unlimited amount of money by building a sandbag and placing the troop near it. Place the sell cursor on the sandbag and slowly move it towards the trooper. When you see the name of the troop apear, (as it usually does when you move the select cursor over it) sell it!

3) Ever get bothered every time you don't have enough silos for all your timberium? Here's a way to save on space and money. First build a structure that builds fast and yet is expensive, (in GDI, this would surely be the Helipad) when finished cancel it and all tiberium you used for it will be returned as cash, and you'll have space again.

4) One way to halt the income of the computer opponent is to sandbag from your base all the way to his base. Once there, seal off all entrances. This way his harvesters won't be able to get in or get out. An extra bonus here is that he can't attack you because the computer, for some unknown reason, can't target sandbags or any other type of wall.

5) Have you ever wanted to be just like the computer and build anywhere? Here's how, build a comm. center, place it on the map. After, build the desired structure, when finished select another structure/unit. Select the now ready structure and place it on the map, move towards the sidebar until only a white mash is left on the map. Move the cursor anywhere on the radar and place it on the desired location (note: The radar should not be in full zoom.).

Down load C&C

For those of you who haven't played the award winning strategy game yet, I've got a present for ya! The Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn Demo offers 3 fully playable missions, video clips of our amazing 3D rendered graphics, and two cuts from the game soundtrack.

Download both part 1 & 2 of the Command & Conquer demo. While you only need to download part 1 to play the game, part 2 is required if you wish to view the cutscenes & mission briefings or listen to the music soundtrack.

Create a subdirectory on your hard drive entitled "C&CDEMO" by going to your root directory (type "CD \" at the DOS prompt), then type "MD C&CDEMO" to create the directory. Copy the two files you have downloaded into this directory. Unextract the files CC1DEMO1.ZIP and CC1DEMO2.ZIP.

Type "SETUP" to select your soundcard and run the game. After you have verified that the game is running properly, you can delete the C&CDEMO1.EXE and C&CDEMO2.EXE files to save hard drive space.
