This is a personal event that happened to me 10 years ago. A circus arrived
in my neighborhood and as usual all the kids wanted to go. Well I asked my
dad for money to go and he gave me money, he sended me with a friend
of the family. Well when we got there, the circus was full with kids and
their parents. Everything was fine until we heard three bomb explotions. It
was horrible the terrorist had taken down two electric towers and a cable
from a tower came down into the circus. It broke through the middle of the
circus, all I saw was a very shining light. Everybody started to run and I
run too. Thanks God nobody got hurt, but it was a horrible scene. I did not
undestand why these people did that, we were just kids trying to have fun.
After that experience, I never went back to the circus again.
As you can see, the shining path does not care if they hurt
innocent people. They can not say that we were fighting against
them, we were just common people trying to have fun in a circus.
My neigborhood is one of the poorest of Lima, I live in El Agustino.
The terrorist can not say that they were attacking the rich or the government.
This was the first time that I almost got kill by them and
