OK, if you want to get Knights of the Round and some other great stuff, you're
going to need a Golden Chocobo.  First, go to the Chocobo tracks near Gold Saucer
(you'll need a Chocobo Lure.  It is a purple materia and can be bought from Choco Billy
or found on the farm during Disc 2) and catch a Chocobo.  If it is with two Spencers
or in front of (it MUST be in front of them) two Flapbeats, catch it and send it back to 
the farm.  (Oh-- purchase five stalls from Choco Bill in the house before catching this dude.)
Now, go to the tracks near Mideel and catch a Chocobo.  Keep catching them until you
get a "Great" Chocobo.  Let all others (except for the one you caught near Gold Saucer) go.
Now go north to the Chocobo Sage's hut.  Wander around on the grassy area there until you find a
large red dragon.  Have a steal materia equipped and use it to Steal or Mug the beast.  After you get
a Carob Nut, just run away.  Repeat this until you have three Carob Nuts.  Now 
go to Gold Saucer.  Register for the Chocobo races until both your Chocobos are A or S Class.
Go back to the farm and breed them with a Carob Nut.  Save before you do this.  Now, the Chocobo should be
blue or green.  If it turns out yellow, reset and try again.  Now catch another Good Chocobo and make sure it 
is the opposite sex as the "Good" that you just bred.  Catch another "Great" Chocobo and make sure it, is the
opposite sex as the "Great" that you just bred.  Now breed these two with a Carob Nut.  Hopefully this will
produce the color that you didn't get from the first two Chocobos and the gender that you didn't get from the
first two Chocobos.  Reset and try again until you get it right, then let all your yellows go.  

By now, you should have a green Chocobo and a blue Chocobo of opposite sexes.  Train them like you did all four
yellows and breed them with your last Carob Nut and you should produce a Black Chocobo.  Reset and repeat until
you get one.  Now go to the small island northeast of the farm and fight the Goblins there.  Steal a Zeio Nut from
them.  Now go to the Chocobo tracks near Glacier Inn (the place where you get the snowboard) and catch a Chocobo there
that is standing with rabbits ONLY.  Not wolves or rabbits and wolves, just rabbits.  Catch this Chocobo and race it and your black
at Gold Saucer until they are both A or S Class.  Now go back to the farm and breed them with the Zeio Nut.  Reset and repeat 
until... CONGRATULATIONS!  You are now the proud owner of a Gold Chocobo that can go anywhere-- absolutely anywhere.  

Look around for caves and stuff that you can't land on or near with the airship and you'll find some
good Materia.
