How to get Yuffie Kisaragi: Wander around in a forest area (preferably near Junon or Gongaga) until you run into a "Mystery Ninja". This is Yuffie. Defeat her and you'll appear in a grass area where Yuffie is lying down. Don't use the save point here-- it will allow Yuffie to run away. Talk to her instead. Here's how the conversation should go-- Every time Yuffie talks, you can choose from two things to respond to her. Here's what to say: YUFFIE: "You spikey-headed jerk! One more time, let's go one more time!" ANSWER: "Not interested." Talk to Yuffie again. She's feeling cocky. YUFFIE: "You're pretty scared of me, huh?" ANSWER: "--petrified." She'll start to leave, then hesitate. YUFFIE: "I'm really gonna leave! REALLY!" ANSWER: "Wait a second!" She starts getting the picture. YUFFIE: "You want me to go with you?" ANSWER: "....That's right." YUFFIE: "All right! I'll go with you!" ANSWER: "Let's hurry on." You will then proceed to leave the area, and Yuffie will run after you. Now you command Yuffie Kisaragi! Getting Vincent Valentine: Go to the Shinra Mansion at Nibelheim and open the safe. After you fight the boss, check inside the safe and you'll find a "Key to the Basement". There is a locked door in the secret passage in the basement-- find it and look in the coffins. One contains Vincent, asleep. Opening the coffin will wake him. First, tell him about Sephiroth. When he goes back to sleep, wake him again and ask his name/situation. Customize Vince's name and leave. Vincent will appear and join the party. Back to main page
