Sarajevo is unique for its position because you can literally see touch of different civilizations and cultures which have left their trace on the soil of this city. Sarajevo has a number of sport facilities and it is an important sport center. Several big sport events took place in Sarajevo and most important one was the 14th Winter Olympic Games in 1984. During four year war, once happy Olympics host city, has been devastated and most of it's sports facilities and objects have been damaged or even completely destroyed. This is retrospective looking in Sarajevo now and then.
