| First off, I'm not doing a whole lot with this page at all. Check out my Lords of Magic page for all new stuff. Secondly, what in the hell is wrong with the weather? I don't about where you are, but it was almost 60 degrees here today!! (58 actually) This is the start of January, where is the cold and snow? Wednesday and Thursday we had a lot of snow, now its 60 degrees!!? What is wrong with this picture? Is anyone else experiencing this around the world? BTW, I'm in Ohio. |

| Changed my mind on the page status. I'm going to put up a Lords of Magic page. I will not put up an AoE page. There are enough of them, and a shortage of LoM pages. If you want a great one, try here. It's a great page, and you can get help in the forum. Also, my first tip. If you want to reduce load times, turn off the sound and get the v1.03beta patch. Mine loads a lot quicker now. That's enough updating, I've got to play more LoM. |

| AoE and Lords of Magic | ||||||||||
| I have played both Age of Empires and Lords of Magic today. I played a lot more AoE than Lords though. Age of Empires is a great game. I am also happy because I won both games (even if they were against the computer). My biggest problem is getting enough food to get to the Bronze Age. Does anyone have any suggestions? That alway gets me stuck. Tonight I ended up fighting off Legions with Axemen and Bowmen and a tower or two. But, I prevailed and won the battle. Had to finish that game by building a wonder. I wanted to kill them, but I'd send in 20+ centurions at a time, and they'd fight me off. Then I'd send in another 20 and they'd fight that off. I was down to just about 1000 gold, so I had to build the wonder. Too bad I couldn't find anyone on the net to play. :( On to Lords of Magic. Not a bad game, cool concept and graphics. The gameplay is tough to get the hang of though. I have no idea where I am supposed to go now. I played for 45 minutes and only got about 6 turns. You really need a fast computer to play this. My 133 with 16 MB RAM was having a tough time keeping up. There are 3 installation options depending on your speed. 166 full, 166 normal, or 100+ Mhz minimum install. Plus, having 8 different alignments takes time, because all the players don't move at once. I don't know how you could stand to play this multiplayer over Sierra's gaming service. This game so far appears to be much like Heroes II, except battles are in real time. The rest is turn based. I've played a game of multiplayer Heroes, and it really dragged. There were 3 players. In an hour, we got through about 1 month, if even that far. I don't think I'll be making a Lords page, though I may put up some screen shots if I remember. I will definitely be making an AoE research guide. It won't so much be a page, just where you can check out everything in the game. Whew! Long post, I'll try to get up some screen shots ASAP. |

| Gamespot has put up a strategy? guide to Diablo. What in the world have they waited so long to do that for. It's not even a guide, just a bunch of useless facts. Most of the pages are messed up, with columns crooked, the wrong table frames in bold and italics, it pretty much looks like crap. If you are really bored, go here. | ||||||||||
