And, heeeeere's plug #1 of plugs part 2.
I'm currently working on a game called Metal Marauder. No, I DON'T have a name for my "software company", just Nick Ransom. That's my name. And I'm making this game. Anyhow, It's a top view deal, like caverns, and I don't use that damn caverns music that everyone is so sick of hearing. It has 8 "levels" (a level is basically a quest to get a keycard, except the final level) and it's about this guy trying to take over the world using robots stolen from the military. The bosses range in size from your typical 1 by 1 character, to something really big that I have checked it's size yet, but it's REALLY big. It has some cool special effects, GREAT animation, casinos, shops, a TON of explosions (you can REALLY have some fun with those!), and SUPERB music! I haven't completed it yet, so I don't know how much it has, but I'm estimating about 2 or 3 meg, give or take one. I don't know when it'll be out, and I don't have any screen shots, so keep your eyes peeled for it. One last thing: here's a tip for all the world designers out there: MAKE A ROBOT LAB! Just make a world where you just create robots, see what they can do, slap a few of 'em in a room together to see what they can do, just do what feels right. Most of the robots I'm putting in this game I designed in my lab.
Send me back to the games already! | Plugs Part 1
