Commandments of Cthulhu
(Guild Policies and Rules)

Aims and Goals:
We wish to further the power of Lord Cthulhu through death and chaos. Above all else, every action we take is an action to glorify him. Eventually, we hope to facilitate and ensure his rise in Sosaria and his dominion over it.
The alignment of this guild is chaotic evil. However, unlike other guilds of this nature, we are not evil out of convenience. Rather, we are evil for evil's sake and Cthulhu's sake. We represent evil in its purest form.
Player Killing:
Player
killiing is an important issue in Ultima Online. The stance of the High Priests on this is that pkilling will be allowed ONLY at the approval of the High Priests (we don't want an initiate slaughtering one of the High Priests' pawns). Pkilling should be done in the name of Cthulhu and serve His purposes. The exceptions to this are self defense and in defense of members of the Brotherhood. In these cases, no prior approval is necessary.
Serving the Master:
Service to Cthulhu requires obedience to the Dark Lord and the dictates of those in high positions of the Brotherhood. One must strive to incite chaos and destruction, for this pleases Cthulhu. At first however, our actions will be subtle, but as we grow in number and power, we shall become more belligerent. Cthulhu requires the performing of a nightly sacrifice. Initiates are required to sacrifice animals each night (the proper procedure for this will be demonstrated when the game gets on-line), and the sacrifice may be done in a group or on one's own. But a sacrifice each night is required! Also, every member of the brotherhood must actively recruit others and spread the word of the Great Old One!
Punishment:
Should any member be found a spy or serving purposes counter to that of the commandments of Cthulhu, the offender will be hunted and sacrificed to the Dark Lord. No exceptions.
This information should help you to understand the Brotherhood better. More policies and rules will be sent to those who join. All praise to Cthulhu!
