Hey this is going to be my page about Playstation games that my friend and I have. He is basically always at my house so it's like his games are my games too and vice versa. We are really good at most of them and can help you out. So send your questions to me or to TacticsBueh. If the name has a link then I have found a good site on that game and have linked it here.

This is a list of games "we" have:

Ace Combat 2
In Ace Combat 2 you are a jet fighter pilot with loads of cash, a hanger full of planes and more missiles packed into your jet than you can count. With thirty missions of non-stop plane shooting, you get plenty of game time, and some of the missions are really cool (like flying through a ravine). This is a great game for anyone, especially for people who love flight sims and blowing up stuff.
Alundra
I dont know much about this game, but it is an RPG very similar to the SNES Zelda game. You play some random guy that can enter peoples dreams so you have to go around fixing peoples minds without a license. The graphics are what I call 'candied' as they look very similar to Candy Land graphics (you know, the board game) like Breath of Fire 3.
Andretti Racing
I cant even give this game away, that is how bad it is so I wont even bother reviewing it.
Breath of Fire 3
This game is really cool. I've only seen a little bit of it but so far it looks fantastic. Some of the puzzles in it are quite strange and hard to solve (from what I hear) so I hope it doesnt turn into one of those games where half the time you play is on one puzzle.
Bushido Blade
This is a really neat idea for a fighting game. Two people fight with the normal fighting game view but instead of health bars kills are determined by where the blow hits. A swipe to the legs will force your opponent to crawl around on the floor while a single blow to the head could end the fight right there. Also, the fights arent limited to one little section, you can walk around to tons of different areas that are all connected together. This creates a huge map for you to fight in. While this game has great ideas, the application of them is not so great. The game is slow and choppy and some of the deadly hits look harmless and some hits do nothing that look like they should kill.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Get this game! It is the classic side scroll Castlevania game, but you get experience, tons of cool items, and you can get these little familiars that fly around and supposedly help you.
Colony Wars
This is a cool space fighter sim with a great story and five different endings depending on your performance during the missions. Two CDs long with great CGs at each chapter break, this game is good sci-fi fun.
Demolition Derby
Go smash some cars! Its not really very fun unless you use the cheat, !Damage! which makes you invincible.
Elemental Gearbolt
This shooting game allows the use of light guns or control pads, although the control pads blow for this game. You play one of two elemental witches on a rampage against society. Battle your way through six tough levels of shooting mayhem. Choose from fire, water, or lighting attacks to take out the horde of enemies flying at your face. Rescue fairys, find the hidden chalices, and most importantly, gain levels! Yes, a shooting game with level building, what else do you need?!?!?
Final Fantasy 7
Another one of Bysnatch's, Capheine's, and my favs, I think this game is great. This stuff here is old, I was a misled child in those days - " I only wish it were fun to play. The graphics are great, the storyline is cool, but overall I just sit there bored when I play. There is just something not right about the game play. I dont even bother anymore. I'll keep trying though." After 13 hours I have realized that only the first hour or two are boring, after that this game is absolutely fantastic! So grit your teeth and force yourself through that first hour, you'll have a blast if you do!
Final Fantasy Tactics
This is one of Bysnatch's fav games as well as my friend Capheine's. They love this game to the breaking point. I personally think it was misnamed, the tactics aren't that great. Sure its 3D and everything but in one on one battles people circle each other, hitting their opponents backs. Bysnatch already found a way to cheat the system and rockets through experience levels like they were nothing. But that is just my opinion. I haven't really played it that much, but it is actually pretty fun. I'll start concentrating on it sometime.
King's Field
This is a great idea for a game. 3-D, Doom style game with a fantasy role-playing twist. You gain experience, levels, and even strength from swinging your sword. I found this game very hard though, and I have yet to make it to a save point without the game genie to help.
Legacy of Kain
This game is pretty neat, but our copy of it got totally messed up so I can't play more than about 10 minutes of it. Even the CD scratch fixing stuff doesn't work. Anyway, you, Kain, are killed by a bunch of bandits in the first minute of the game. You make a pact with the devil and come back to life as a vampire and get revenge. The rest of the story I don't know, but I think that you are supposed to try and save your soul from your pact. This game is a really fun, top-down view with some really interesting quirks (like sucking almost dead people's blood for life) and the graphics are amazing.
MegaMan X4
I personally think that the MegaMan series got old after about 3 or 4 of them, so I really haven't played this game or even payed attention to it that much.
Metal Gear Solid
This espionage game really pays attention to detail, if you step on a metal plate, your foot makes a clank and guards come to investigate the noise. You can strangle guards, break their necks, or use them as shields against massive blasts of fire from other guards. This game boasts the largest screenplay of any video game ever, ten times the size of T2's screenplay! Two CDs of action packed sneaking fun are well worth the price and the time we had to wait to get it.
Monster Rancher
This is actually quite fun. With over 200 monsters, including dragons, bunnys, dinosaurs, worms, apes, and giant blocks, fighting your way to an S rank is very difficult. It can get repetitive though, so play your friends every once in a while to liven things up!
Nightmare Creatures
This game is so incredibly hard. We cant make it past the first three levels without the cheat codes. This game is a 3d adventure through London, but it is a game for people who like the fighting games more than for rpgers. Without the knowledge and ability to use all of the characters special moves, the characters get slaughtered as they wander the deadly streets. Even on the easiest level, this game seems impossible.
Nuclear Strike (Recently Sold it)
This game has neat graphics, but little else. Basically it is a scavenger hunt in a helicopter. Sometimes you are fighting enemies that are off the screen and thus lack any excitement. All the levels are really long, and take several times to beat even if you are the best just because there are so many ways to screw each of them up. If you want a challenge, this is a game for you. Not to say I don't enjoy a challenge, but seriously, this game is kinda pushing it.
Oddworld
This is one of the most original story lines in history, but all the puzzles are amazingly hard. I watched a video describing how to solve some of the puzzles once, and the guy talked fast for almost 5 minutes straight explaining what to do and where to go for a puzzle. The many deaths you experience in this game are very annoying, especially the meat grinder. Ahhh, that noise, make it stop the grinding ahhhhh!!!
Ogre Battle
Unbelievable strategy involved in this game. I've heard there are over 500 different endings to this game, depending on the path you take and what your stats are at the end. Most people complain about the graphics, which are very simplistic, but the game play in this game more than makes up for the lacking graphics.
Parasite Eve
This is the "cinematic RPG" with tons of awesome CGs, weapon adjustments, RE style movement with an RPG fighting system. A must get for any RPG or RE fan.
Resident Evil Directors Cut
This is an awesome improvement from the original RE. Even those who think they are experts can find themselves sweating at the challenge. But if you aren't that great(like me) it has the original version of RE as well as an easy version. This game is mostly story builder for RE2 though, and can get dreary at some points.
Resident Evil 2
Now this is a great game. The graphics and characters are great, as well as the occasional movie sequence that will leave you staring with your jaw wide open. The fact that each character contributes to the other characters storyline is really cool. The second time through soooo much stuff gets explained it is hard to comprehend.
Soulblade
This game is pretty neat, but it gets kinda old real fast. Until you learn about the story mode, where you join the characters in the game on a quest for better weapons that stretch acros the globe. Some of the battles get very hard, and there are two fighters who I just cannot complete. Most of them are very fun to play though. The coolest part about that is when you get the better weapons for the characters, you can plug in your save card in multiplayer and use the cooler looking (and more useful) weapons against your friends!
TacticsOgre
This game is neat. With 8 different endings in a non-linear story-line, and the style of play of FFT, what more could you want? Sometimes the game slows down a bit, but it is easy to get used to and is really not all that bad.
Tekken 3
This game is really cool, and the styles of play that you can open up, like TekkenBall, are very original. Fight in a Final Fight syle of play with all your favorite characters, or play a rowdy game of volley ball to recieve secret characters like DR. B or Gon. Me? I prefer the spinning kicks of Eddie above all, and when I use him am almost undefeatable.
Time Crisis
All I can say is "YES!" A shooter that comes with the best light gun on the market that is just like the arcade, with one addition. A special level availiable only on the playstation that is a non-linear level! That's right! If you find the secrets you can take different paths and get different grades at the end.
Tomb Raider 2
No.
Twisted Metal
This game is fun to have just for the occasional romp with guns and cars. Go screaming around the wild arenas as you blast the hell out of the other drivers. Not an overly difficult game, but it sure is fun!
Vandal Hearts
THIS GAME RULES! The strategy is so cool, the magic rocks, and the story rules. For some reason I just cant stop playing it. It's only about a 15 hour game but those hours are absolutely heavenly.
Warhammer: Dark Omen
Based off the Warhammer wargame series by Games Workshop, this incredibly detailed wargame takes you to a land ravaged by the undead. Legions of skeletal warriors fill the plains, and you are the only thing stoping them from destroying the entire world! Incredible graphics and an intrigueing storyline make this game a must-have for any wargame fan.
Wild Arms
To tell you the truth, this game looks rather weird. All the characters and the graphics are a bit odd, but each of the characters is very unique. One uses guns, another magic, and the third swords. I have seen little of this game but it is a very classic RPG with a different style of graphics and a plot that stretches over worlds.
Worms
This is the greatest party game ever made. What is more fun than blowing up your friends worms with bazookas? With millions of random maps, you will never play on the same battlefield twice. Anyone who has played Scorched Earth will recognize the geometry of blasting people to bits Worms uses.

For a grand total of 33 freaking games between the two of us. Man, we need to beat some of them now!

Go back.
