Exlax has two different battle systems, although they are both very similar. One is for Dude Master Q Guy Man who uses a high tech automatic laser blaster. Throughout the game you can find powerups for the gun which make it more powerful. The higher Dude Master Q Guy Man's level and the higher his gun is, the better chance he has to hit the enemy for a lot of damage.
The second BS is for the VengeSquad, who fight as a group. At each level the VengeSquad gains a member and unlocks a Venge Power. Macadamia has Power Boost which doubles the VengeSquad's attack power for one battle. Tactics has Strategy which doubles defense. Poco Bueno has a limited ammo of pennies which half the enemies life and Capheine's lack of caring has a %40 chance of exploding the VengeSquad's enemy's head. The final level of the VengeSquad's power is called Venge. They all pool their power and their attack and defense scores are quadrupled for the rest of the battle.
