Some of you may have read my stories of Pla'cean. That Was my First Age. Then I wanted a Grand, Wonderful Age. I go there often now, to visit my mother, touch up on my buildings, visit Ase. That sort of thing. However, I also have Another Age, one that has not yet been revealed to you. In fact there are many others. But this Age was meant to be one to relax in. To build in.
It was a type of oval, almost perfect, but there was a small part in the Northeast that jutted out, curved right, and then pulled halfway back in, creating a sort of circular pool. The water was crystal clear, and the bottom was sand of only the finest white grain. There were several types of edible seaweed along the edges where this pool connected to the open sea. This Pool is called the Seaside Wonder. I still don't understand how this could have gotten into my Age when nothing of it was mentioned, even along the Seaside. Hence the Seaside Wonder.
A path inward lead through a small field of grass the color of scarlet. Though it appears to be course, the grass is actually as soft as cotton, but not as itchy. It is so comfortable that I took some back to D'ni and lined my bed with it.
Soon the path enters a small forest of Oak, Elm, Ash, and Ceader trees. By some twist of nature, they grow in sections, none entering the section of another. First we enter the Oak trees. Their majestic branches stretch high above our heads, creating a kind of canopy.
Next come the Ash Trees. They are what I used for the posts on my bed in this age. They are quite springy. Sometimes I will carve things out of them.
There is hardly a noticable change from Elm trees to Ceader. I use the Elm sometimes for Buildings like shacks, but I mostly use oak for that. The Ceader is my favorite tree. It's wonderful smell not only made my cave smell better, but also gave me a scented floor, which I used to cover the choking dust at the bottom.
As we leave the forest, the path takes a sharp right as it avoinds a hill and heads northwest to a freshwater spring. This is where I get my water. Sometimes I will bathe here, but mostly it is for drinking.
Not too far away, a mountain has a peak of about 600 feet. On its side there is a cave, with an Oak door. Here the path ends. Inside the is a bed of ash slats, with long grass sewn together on it, at the very back. The floor is covered in Cedar, and the grain pattern tends to catch the eye.Next to the bed and on the left, there is a nightstand, with a locked drawer. Inside the Drawer is my Journal, pen, and Island Maps. To my Immediate left and against the wall, is a bookcase, where I keep Books of Commentary, Forgotten Journals, and other Items I like to have on hand. Next to that is a desk. A chair made of Elm Sits the occupant, while on the desk are Pens, Papers, and other Items of intermediate importance. Inside the drawers of the desk were Special Ink and Books. My linking Books were not kept at a desk, but In Crevices along the opposite wall. There were Five crevises in all, One Leading to D'ni, One to Pla'cean, and the others Various Ages of my accquaintance. To finally end this story, We cross over to one of the Linking Books, Open it, and link back to D'ni.
Thank you for taking the time to read my little description.
