Jeepney #1 Page
Now you're probably sitting there wondering, "what the hell is Jeepney #1?!?!!"...right? hehe...well, jeepney #1 is a very unique and exclusive clique that was first founded in a faraway place called Zambales in February of 1998. It all began when we were on the way to one of our concerts in Zambales and the "coolest" people on the trip all managed to find eachother on the same jeepney! Now, these jeepneys were numbered from 1 to however many jeepneys there were and to the "coolest" peoples' great surprise, their jeepney number was 1! On the way to the concert, these "cool" people, now known as the OJ's (original jeepers), sang many songs, making disco versions of them. One great accomplishment of the OJ's is coming up with the disco version of the "titanic" song by celine dion (oopsies...forgot the title of the song!) before it actually did come out. =) In any case, jeepney #1 filled the beaches and streets of zambales with fun and laughter with our music! Of course, other jeepneys did try to compete with us (i.e. jeepney #3, which was filled with jazz band people who mistakenly thought they were the "coolest". haha..of course they were wrong) We were undefeatable! Then....about a week or two after Zambales, we were off to bangkok for iasas dance, drama and forensics and to our great surprise, many of the OJ's were on this trip as well so the tradition of the jeepney #1 frolicking and singing continued. We even decided to consider membership for 2 new "cool" people that we found...and after much consideration, we decided to accept both of them as new OJ's. Congratulations again to aled ordu and agnes annus. Another great accomplishment of the OJ's took plave in the theater of isb. The OJ's were sitting there, before the performances began and naturally, we were singing some of our all time favorites like sha la la and "jettin' giggy wit it" but this time, we had a new song "killing me softly". Now, there were other students from other schools sitting around and much to our great surprise, they had been listening to our singing! They even started requesting songs. we were flattered to maximum galore(as sunny would say)! But then, as more students arrived, more and more started to join in our singing and clapping of "sha la la". Soon, the auditorium was filled with students from different schools from different countries all coming together to sing sha la la. It was a victorious moment for the OJ's indeed! =) and now, i shall leave u with a final...sha la la babee!
