James was born into a wealthy family but he left because his strange snobby parents wanted him to marry Jessibel, his fiance that looks identical to Jessie.As a boy his pet was Growly but his Team Rocket pokemon is Koffing which eventually evolves into Weezing.He failed Pokemon Tech along with Jessie and hes always getting bossed around by her. He also started a biker gang along with Jessie (Little Jim).
