Striker Information
The Striker System is not just back just it has been improved, such that it has became an critical factor for players to win. Below are some of the things that are added to the Striker System.
Striker Heaven
Formerly, strikers can only be called when you are standing, or doing some combos. Now there are no limits as when you can call out your strikers. Whether you are jumping, doing a special move, fallen to the ground or even throwing your opponents, your strikers will come out when you press B+C buttons.Striker Follow-Up
WWhen you are throwing your opponents, you can call out your strikers to give an extra attack, or maybe juggle the opponent for an extra hit. However, a power point will be spent if you decide to do a Striker Follow-Up attack, so it actually depends on the player to see if it is worth it.
This is never possible in previous KOFs.Alternate Strikers
This is really something extra, and i am not sure whether it will affect the game storyline or not. Anyway, in KOF 2000, after you choose the 3 characters as fighters and you are about to select your striker, you now have a choice as to use that 4th character as your striker or use the alternate striker of that character instead. Well, if you still dont understand, then take a look at the pictures below.
This is the screen where both players can choose who they want to be their strikers. Normally, for Player 1, it is Chang, as for Player 2, it is Iori.
However, look at the screen again, now you can choose their alternate strikers insetad. For Chang, it is Dong Hwan, who is Kim's son in "Mark of the Wolves", while the alternate striker for Iori is Mature & Vice.
Look at that, even Duck King is here !!!
The alternate striker for Benimaru is "Another Benimaru" !!!
Currently, other than Chang's and Iori's alternate strikers, i also know that Duck King is also Joe's alternate striker. Other alternate strikers include Athena's fan, Robert wearing Ryo's costume and, believe it or not, Yashiro Nanakase is inside too !!!
Well, that is the end of the striker information that i know now. Will update once i get more information.
