People needed to start out with great games, or else they would have noticed that the game sucked. Today, people have been trained to think Nintendo is fun, so they just play the games, thinking they are good.
I don't know about you, but I would rather play a 2D game much more than a 3D game. They are very annoying. It is a good thing Nintendo didn't start out with 3D, because it would not have clicked with me. I think that it would not have clicked with a lot of people.
I asm happy the way things started, even SNES. I like SNES, it had some good games (Super Metroid, SMB World). But when the N64 came out, I was disgusted. I said, "Who the hell would buy this!" The sad thing is, most of my friends have an N64. I'm not going to stop being their friends jsut because they have an awful system, I'm just going to question their reasoning a bit more, unless of course they regretted buying it.
Oh great, I got completly off the subject. Oh well.
I would be extatic if Nintendo could make good games with good graphics. They were there for a while, with SNES, but then the games got crappyer, and the graphics got 'better' (I don't like 3D).
So, I guess as long as i can find games for 5 bucks at the local swap meet, I'll be fine. Thank you.
