German 8.8 cm Flak gun mSPW SDKfz 251/16 Flammen Description: The SDKfz 251/16 is a medium half-track armed with two large flamethrowers and a MG-34 machine gun. With lots of firepower from the flamethrowers there is little armor that makes it very vulnerable to enemy units. Deployment: The SDKfz 251/16 is in some respects better than the Hetzer 38(t) Flammen tank, like in the area of firepower the halftrack has two flamethrowers. Use the Flammen to destroy enemy units hidden in buildings or out in the open. Do not attempted to take on tanks because even the machine gun fire from them will kill the crew. Advantage: Awesome firepower with the two large flamethrowers. Weakness: Very vulnerable with very little armor. mSPW SDKfz 251/9 7.5cm Pak Description: The SDKfz 251/9 is a medium halftrack armed with a 7.5 cm K.w.K (L24) gun and a MG-34 maching gun. The halftrack is fairly fast and capable of taking on tanks but has a drawback of thin armor. Deployment: Place the SDKfz 251/9 where it can ambush enemy tanks because it will obviously not survive a head on encounter with a tank. Advantage: Fast with decent firepower. Weakness: Thin armor and slow reload time. mSPW SDKfz 351/2 Morsor Description: The Morsor is a medium halftrack with a 8-cm mortar mounted in the back, to support this there is also a MG-34 machine gun. With 40 rounds for the mortar the Morsor is a good weapon that with good mobility can avoid most enemy fire through it still has thin armor. Deployment: Place the Morsor anywhere behind friendly troops so it can shower the enemy with mortar rounds, always move it from time to time to avoid enemy return fire. Advantage: Good mobility and lots of ammunition. Weakness: Thin armor and to top makes it vulnerable to enemy mortar shells even if you can't see the enemy. 8.8 cm Pak 43 Heavy antitank gun Description: The 8.8 cm Pak 43 is the antitank version of the famous "88" Flack antiaircraft gun. This weapon should not be underestimated with an awesome range and penetrating power nothing is immune to it! The crew also carries rifles and hand grenades to fight off infantry. Deployment: Place the 8.8 cm gun where it has good lines of fire and can ambush any enemy units, it is very effective against enemy infantry. Advantage: Awesome range and penetrating power. Weakness: None really only to a heavy tank and infantry assault or a lucky mortar round will destroy the gun. Flammenwerfer Description: The Flammenwerfer teams consist of two assault engineers armed with flamethrowers. This unit has a range of 30 meters but is very vulnerable to enemy fire. Deployment: Place the Flammenwerfer teams where they can take out suppressed enemy units in a defended area or to ambush tanks at close range. Advantage: Very powerful firepower. Weakness: Very vulnerable to even rifle fire at long range. mSPW SDKfz 251/1 HMG Description: The SDKfz 251/1 is a heavy machine gun carrier that mounts two MG-42 heavy machine guns. Basically all this unit is two Schweres machine gun teams with double the mobility. Deployment: Place it where you would normally place a machine gun team where it has decent cover and good line of fire. Advantage: Good firepower, lots of ammunition and good mobility. Weakness: Thin armor and when playing the computer it seems to pick on half-tracks with HMG's more than a normal machine gun halftrack. 7.5 cm Pak 40 Medium Anti-tank gun Description: The Pak 40 medium gun is a very effective antitank gun that with a good rate of fire can stop any Allied tank at medium range and short range. The crew carries rifles and hand grenades to fight off enemy infantry when attacked. Deployment: Place the Pak 40 where it has good lines of fire and cover so it can destroy enemy tanks and infantry it is effective against both. Advantage: Good armor penatration and fast reloads. Weakness: Not a lot of cover for the crew. sPanzerpawagen Puma Description: The Puma is a fast armored scout car armed with a 5cm K.w.K. 39 (L60) main gun and a MG-34 machine gun. With good speed and good firepower the Puma is the fear of enemy halftracks. Deployment: Place anywhere it works just like a light tank with better speed but less armor! Advantage: Good speed and good firepower. Weakness: Thin armor make the Puma as vulnerable as a halftrack. leSPW SDKfz 250/10 3.7 Pak Description: The SDKfz 250/10 is a light halftrack armed with a K.w.K 31 (L54) light 3.7cm Pak anti-tank gun. Along with the main gun it was armed with a MG-42 machine gun. Deployment: The SDKfz 250/10 is pretty much useless because there is very few tanks with thin armor that the 3.7 Pak can penetrate. The 3.7 Pak is pretty much ineffective against infantry making the SDKfz 250/10 a very vulnerable halftrack. Advantage: Not much except it is very little and easy to hide from the enemy. Weakness: Just about everything! leSPW SDKfz 250/7 Morser Description: Identical to the medium SDKfz 251/2 morser except this one is a smaller light halftrack version. Deployment: The same as the SDKfz 251/2. Advantage: Good mobility and lots of ammunition. Weakness: Thin armor! Schweres Heavy Machine Gun Description: The Schweres HMG consists of a heavy MG-42 machine gun and two rifles and a submachine gun. This team is way more powerful than the MG-42 team that is equipped with the light version. This is at a small loss of accuracy, but with twice the ammunition. Deployment: Place it in buildings with good fields of fire so they can take out enemy units. Advantage: Good firepower and lots of ammunition. Weakness: Vulnerable to tanks like all infantry are. sPzSpWg SDKfz 234/1 Description: The SDKfz 234/1 is a quick medium armored vehicle armed with a 2cm main gun and a MG-34 machine gun. The SDKfz 234/1 has thin armor and is very vulnerable even to automatic weapons. Deployment: Place it where it has good cover and will not be engaged by enemy forces before it can chose its target. Advantage: Small and fast good for scouting the enemy position. Weakness: Thin armor and not a lot of firepower. 5cm Pak 35/36 Description: The 5cm Pak 35/36 light anti-tank gun is somewhat lacking the armor penetration to kill tanks but is fairly effective against enemy infantry in the open or in buildings. The crew is armed with rifles to attempt to fight off attacking enemy infantry. Deployment: Place it where it has good fields of fire and can eliminate enemy halftracks or light tanks. Advantage: Quick reload time. Weakness: Not a lot of armor penetration. 8cm Grantwerfer Description: The Grantwerfer is a mortar team armed with a 8cm mortar and a MP-44 and Rifles for the rest of the team. The mortar is one of the few units that can fire over buildings even if there is no line of sight at the target. Deployment: Anywhere behind friendly lines except in buildings! Advantage: The Grantwerfer has the ability to kill units without being seen by the enemy. Weakness: Not very accurate and only 30 rounds for the mortar. SDKfz 8-RAD 232 Description: The SDKfz 232 is a fast well built armored car armed with a 2cm main gun and a MG-34 machine gun. Although it is well armed for a scout car it has very thin armor and is easily destroyed. Deployment: Place it near the front lines where it can scout enemy positions. Advantage: Great speed and good weapons. Weakness: Thin armor and a small amount of ammunition for long engagements with the enemy. Raketen Pz Buchse Panzerschreck Description: The Panzerschreck is the most effective anti-tank weapon used by any of the forces, the two man team is armed with a 8.8 cm rocket launcher that has the range of 8-125 meters for killing even the most heavily armored Allied tanks. The loader is also armed with a Mauser Kar 98 rifle. Deployment: Place where there is likely to be enemy tanks that need to be killed in a hurry, not many if any Allied tanks can survive a rocket hit from these teams. Make sure the teams have good cover so they can hide after launching a rocket. Advantage: Good penetrating power and good range. Weakness: Only eight rockets so fire them carefully! 8.8cm Flak 36 Description: This weapon is the fear of all Allied tanks, the Flak 36 was originally designed as an antiaircraft gun. Forced to destroy tanks the 8.8 proved to be deadly to all enemy tanks during Operation: Market Garden. Deployment: Place it in a building or a place with good cover and fields of fire to take out enemy tanks or infantry. Advantage: Awesome range and penetrating power.
