Hints & cheats (training):

Dune II: The Battle for Arrakis

There's nothing like a good game of Dune! Here, I am the Atreides, and I'm playing the last mission. Attack that windtrap!!! It's the last building! Hmmm... but what am I going to to when this building is destroyed and there are no missions left...?

Mission 9, Harkonnen long distance war:

If you have selected house Harkonnen and have made it to the last mission, you can destroy lots of the enemies' buildings by doing this:

Build a Spice Refinery and HARVEST spice. As soon as you can afford it, build a second Spice Refinery and provide yourself with 3 or 4 Harvesters (e.g. via the Starport). Now, harvest, harvest, harvest... Start building LOTS of Palaces. 10-15 should be enough. Use 3-4 units you can spare to explore the enemy bases, so that you find out where the valuable buildings are. Now, wait until ALL the Palaces are ready to fire a Death Hand-missile, and fire all the missiles at the buildings you want to destroy. Normally, 3-5 missiles will hit the target or near the target, which will cause GREAT damage! Actually, it's possible to complete this mission with this procedure. Be sure to wipe out the enemies' Construction Yards and Palaces first! Then the Heavy Factories and so on...

UFO: Enemy Unknown

This is a very good strategy game, but it can be a little hard sometimes. Here are some really nice HEX-cheats that will make the game much easier. Remember to make backups! Just read the cheats while the images are loading...

What exactly IS this thing???
Oops! Pushed the trigger by accident...

How to get more money ($$$):

First, you need to start a new game, save it (when you're in the geoscape) and start a hex-editor. Hex-edit the file liglob.dat and change the VERY FIRST hex-numbers to 7FFFFFFF. This will give you LOTS of money, and you can buy ANYTHING! If you run out of money, just repeat this procedure.

Help! Now, they want revenge!
OK! OK!!! I KNOW I killed your buddy,
but IS this really necessary?

How to build facilities in just one day:

Info is coming soon... I hope... have patience!
KA-BOOM!!! ... etc...
This Alien Base could use some repairs!
What?!? That's not fair! These aliens can fly!

How to improve the defence-facilities:

Beware of these creatures!
What a strange looking UFO! And what are
they doing with this animal???

How to get your base(s) filled up with Elerium:

Hmmm... so this is what they call "Alien Terror"!
And here are some more strange aliens!

Mercy! MERCY!!! I'm just a little poor soldier!!!
Intercepting a very large UFO!

Deluxe Galaga v2.6c

How to train the shop:

First, get a hex-editor, then hex-edit the main Galaga-file (GALAGA.AGA) so that it looks like this:

Be sure to go to the correct sector (number 336 as you can see in the picture). When you have edited the file, and saved the changes, of course, all the stuff in the shop will cost 1 single credit ONLY!!! Cool, isn't it? Now you can buy lots of cool stuff by collecting just ONE coin!

Other stuff:

Worms custom-levels

Here are some custom-levels for Worms. They work perfectly on the Amiga-version, but I dunno if they work on the PC-version. They are in eight colors. Here's a preview of them:
