The Gazelle helicopter on exhibit at the Air
Force Museum is one of the Syrian helicopters shot down and taken by the
IDF in the "Peace for Galilee" War. In its military version the Gazelle
is an anti-tank helicopter, equipped with either four or six Hot rockets.
Gazelles are owned by various Arab countries, including Kuwait, Egypt,
Syria Iraq and Qatar.
