Vautours of several variants were used to great effect, especially in the Six Day War. They struck distant targets such as Egypt's Ras Banas and Luxor airfields. The Vautour range was so great that during an attack against the remote H-3 airfield Ben-Zion Zohar managed to shoot down an Iraqi Hunter and then continued to bomb the field.
