Music I Dislike..

Here's my Bulleted List of Bands which I DISlike and/or have heard songs by that, IMO, suck.

I will attempt to list them alphabetically. The rough rating is from: -1 (not so bad but I'd be surprised to find any of thier work on any of my tapes or in my music collection) to: -10 (absolutely pathetic - what are they doing with a musical instrument and/or a microphone?!)

ABBA: Unbelievably popular for many, some modern DJ's stoop so low as to create dance mixes based on thier stuff! (doh!) {-8.5/-10}

ACE OF BASE: If they are hinting at 'bass' in thier name, they have none in thier 'music'. {-9.5/-10}

BACKSTREET BOYS: Umm, should that be 'Backdoor Boys'? {-9.5/-10}
JIMMY BARNES: Westy groveller who's also got a HUGE following and is very popular here in Oz for some reason. Granted, though, he has influenced a lot of good Aussie (and global I guess) rock music. This goes for Cold Chisel also. {-4/-10}
BILLY RAY CYRUS: Makes me sick. {-9.5/-10}
BOY GEORGE: Get me outta there! {-9.5/-10}
BOBBY BROWN: No good. {-9/-10}
GARTH BROOKS: Sickly. {-9.5/-10}
BOYZ II MEN: Pathetic name and even more pathetic attempt at music. {-10/-10}

BUCKLEY, JEFF & TIM: Don't know who they are or which of them sings what, but I dont care. The Buckley songs I've heard all suck. {-9.5/-10}

CAKE: Modern band that sound like s*#t. {-9/-10}
COLLETTE: Eeewwww. {-9.5/-10}
COLOR ME BADD: Pathetic. {-10/-10}
THE CORRS: Sickly. {-9.5/-10}
COUNTRY AND WESTERN, 99.9% OF ALL: Makes me sick. {-9.5/-10}

CROWDED HOUSE: Very poor, but being Aussies counts for something. {-8/-10}

JOHNNY DEISEL AND THE INJECTORS: What a pathetic name, Johnny deisel alone is no better. {-9/-10}
CELINE DION: Crap. {-9/-10}
DAVID BOWIE: From a part of the so-called "glam" era that I think the world would mostly have been better off without. {-9/-10}

DURAN DURAN: No Good. {-9/-10}

ELVIS PRESLEY: He's dead, and thats good. "Elvis was a hero to most but he never meant s*#t to me, you see, straight up racist that sucker was simple and plain, mother**** him and John Wayne!" - says it all for me. (lyrics form Public Enemy) {-9.5/-10}

GLORIA ESTEFAN: Eeewww. {-9/-10}

JOHN FARNHAM: Has a lot of support, but not from me. {-8/-10}

GEORAGE MICHAEL: Pathetic. {-9/-10}

HANSON: Ewwwwww! {-10/-10}
NATALIE IMBRUGLIA: UNbelievable how popular she has been in some recent music awards late 1998. Pathetic. {-9.5/-10}

INXS: Way too light. But they have had quite an influence on a lot of modern music over thier years. {-8/-10}

MICHAEL JACKSON: Grrrr.. He makes me angry as well as sick. A crying shame that a child molester and person who wears SO much makeup and gets pathetic plastic surgery has so much money! {-10/-10}
JANET JACKSON & ALL OTHER MUSCIAL TRYHARDS IN THAT FAMILY: Suck. {-9.5/-10}

JAY Z: Modern 'artist' who's for some reason very popular in US charts during late 1998.. UNbelievable! {-9.5/-10}

PAUL KELLY: Sounds like s**t. Has had influence in certain musical circles somehow. {-8.5/-10}
LENNY KRAVITZ: A tryhard, that doesnt get there. {-8/-10}

KRISS KROSS: Ohh, doesnt the name just make you wanna 'get down' with da' funky boys? errm, no. {-10/-10}

MATCHBOX 20: Modern, popular, and s*#t. {-8.5/-10}
JOHN MELLENCAMP: No good. {-9/-10}

KYLIE & DANII MINOGUE: Both make me sick. {-9/-10}

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK: Not my block, fools. {-10/-10}

RIK OCASEK: No good at all. {-8.5/-10}

OASIS: Pleeeaaase! How obviously are they trying to copy the Beatles! Getting busted for drugs, however, illustrates a somewhat cool attitude. {-9/-10}

PET SHOP BOYS: Get me outta there! {-8/-10}

PRINCE: What a fool. Has had some influence in certain musical circles, which is very strange. {-9/-10}

SAVAGE GARDEN: The only 'savage" thing about them is how they massacre the potential of thier instrments. {-9/-10}
THE SPICE GIRLS: How can they possibly be so popular?! No talent at all. No place in music's history at all. {-10/-10}

ROD STEWART: No good. {-8/-10}

TINA ARENA: Eeeewww. {-9/-10}
TISM: Modern alternative band, that aren't very good. {-6/-10}
THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS: Unbelievably popular in many circles. Why? {-8.5/-10}

SHANIA TWAIN: Eeewww. {-9.5/-10}
