Here's my Movie List Cave, which details many movies that I have seen over the years which, to me, are memorable and worthy of note here.. That means I thinky they are, to some degree, cool!
They are listed in a *rough* order - ones I liked the most toward the top. I have detailed my thoughts on each as they go. Perhaps one day I will make a "Movie Top 20 or 30 of all time" list or something.. But that is yet to be seen.. heh.

- THE HUNT FOR RED OKTOBER (Sean Connery) - One of my favourite movies of all time. Have seen it nearly a dozen times and still enjoy it each time. Most impressive.
- PREDATOR I & II (Arnold Swarzenegger in I, and Danny Glover in II) - Awesome 'alien hunter on the loose on earth' movies, the first one a bit better. I love seeing them both time and time again..
- HIGHLANDER (Sean Connery) - Legendary movie with great sword fights, a cool story & very nice cinematography. Excellent. Note - Highlander II was nowhere near as good.
- BARAKA - A totally unforgettable visual experience, a movie that I STRONGLY recommend to anyone who enjoys the big screen, ON the big screen! Can't wait to see it again and take as many of my friends as possible with me..
- THE LOST BOYS (Keifer Sutherland) - Another movie which I highly regard. Very well done Vampire story. A classic for sure.
- All MONTY PYTHON movies (John Cleese & co.) - Absolutely legendary comical movies. They stand apart from any others. Some were especially good (I hope to list a few of the very good ones here later maybe) and some weren't as good. "We are.... The Knights that say... Ni!" ;)
- ALIEN movies - The first 2 were the best, and the last Alien Resurrection was a bit tripped out but still cool. Cult classics.
- HEAT (Robert DeNiro & Al Pacino) - Very, very good and long modern movie, one of the few, I'm told, with both these great actors together. I thouroughly enjoyed it.
- THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION - Very, Very good.
- BLOODSPORTS (and BLOODSPORTS II I think) (Jean-Claude Van Damme) - Awesome martial arts movie(s), the first was best I think.
- BLADE RUNNER (Harrison Ford) - Very cool sci-fi movie that is up there with the classics.
- STAR WARS TRILOGY (Harrison Ford) - Legendary. Am very much looking froward to George Lucas's newest works to create new Star Wars movies - dunno how many he plans to make, but I'll go to the cinemas for them for sure!
- All JAMES BOND movies - From the really old ones to the modern ones featuring awesome technological aspects and effects, these are all classics with the timeless "Bond" style.
- LETHAL WEAPON movies (Danny Glover & Mel Gibson) - Cool action, havent seen the latest IV one yet, hope to soon.
- CONAN THE BARBARIAN (Arnold Swarzenegger) - Older, funny to see Arnie in his very young days, very cool.
- ENTER THE DRAGON (Bruce Lee) - An excellent old style martial arts movie, with the most legendary martial artist of them all.
- CRIMSON TIDE (Denzel Washington) - Submarine movie that's very cool, and says the most important modern day war message (something like "what the f%*# are we doing creating nuclear weapons!").
- TRAINSPOTTING - Undoubtedly impressive and raw.
- THE BLUES BROTHERS - Legendary movie with one of the best car chase scenes of them all!
- 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY - Cool sci-fi movie that is considered a pioneer of sorts for many modern similar sci-fi efforts.
- UNDER SIEGE I & II (Steven Seagal) - Pretty cool action/terrorist/hero movies.
- PULP FICTION (John Travolta) - Modern classic.
- DOUBLE TEAM (Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dennis Rodman) - Modern kick-ass action movie with cool martial arts, has it's own legendary status purely because Rodman is acting and fighting alongside the great Van Damme!
- BLADE (Wesley Snipes) - Modern heavy vampire movie, like "The Lost Boys" in modern New York. Very cool special effects and fighting sequences with a *nice* array of weaponry. Overall not bad, but I do want to see it again sometime.
- AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON - Classic werewolf movie.
- TERMINATOR movies (Arnold Swarzenegger) - Great action movies, with a cool theme.
- DUNE (Sting) - Great sci-fi movie based on Herbert's book.
- DIE HARD movies (Bruce Willis) Cool action/hero movies, all of them pretty good.
- SPAWN - THE DIRECTOR'S CUT - Saw the Director's Cut once only, it was extraordinary, but not excellent. Keen to see it again sometime.
- FIRST BLOOD & RAMBO movies (Sylvester Stallone) - Cool classics.
- MAD MAX movies (Mel Gibson) - I & II were awesome. III "Beyond Thunderdome" was a bit tripped out and not as good.
- CHEECH & CHONG movies - Most of them are classics.
- A LONG KISS GOODNIGHT - Cool Spy/Action movie with some great scenes.
- TRUE LIES (Arnold Swarzenegger) - Modern far-out action spy movie. Pretty cool.
- RUBEN & ED - A very funny wierd movie with some classic scenes. Hard to find at most video stores in Oz anyways. Can't wait to see it again sometime.
- CON AIR - Cool action and story.
- NATURAL BORN KILLERS (Woody Harrelson) - One of the only movies ever, which I *really* wanted to see again almost straight after it finished! Pretty wild and cool.
- THE BIG BLUE - Great Freediving movie, a little slow in places, but very good nonetheless.
- POINT BREAK (Patrick Swayze) - Cool movie with some cool action and good surfing themes and scenes.
- RESERVOIR DOGS - Very classy and cool hitmen movie.
- INDIANA JONES movies (Harrison Ford) - Cool action movies, with some classic scenes.
- INDEPENDANCE DAY - Modern Aliens attacking earth movie with some great special effects.
- ASSASSINS (Sylvester Stallone) - Not bad movie, but seen it twice and that's enough. Man, I have yet to see a REALLY good and well-done detailed movie based on assassins of some type, and I think there's definitely the scope for one with the special effects and awesome cinematography we have available these days!
- HARD TARGET (Steven Seagal) - Not bad, with some cool fighting scenes.
- THE 5TH ELEMENT (Bruce Willis) - Cool sci-fi, a bit tripped in certain ways.
- MARKED FOR DEATH (Steven Seagal) - OK action and fighting scenes.
- BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA - Cool action movie with a theme that could be done a *lot* better with some of today's technology creating awesome special effects.
- THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY I & II - Outlandish and quite funny the first one, the second one nowhere near as good.
- JAWS movies - Older, but pretty classic shark movies.
- CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND - older alien movie that was pretty good in it's day. Seen it enough times now though.
- BEAVIS & BUTTHEAD DO AMERICA - Very cool movie starring the cartoon characters of the legendary cartoon.
- AIR FORCE ONE (Harrison Ford) - Modern american president movie that was pretty cool, but way too 'red, white and blue - ish'.
- THE WIZARD OF OZ - Who can forget this timeless classic?
- THE PRINCESS BRIDE - Softer movie that I loved when I was quite young.
