The first Calvin & Hobbes strip

This is the first Calvin and Hobbes comic strip. It pretty much shows how Calvin and Hobbes met or were put toghether, but who knew what would come from a simple tuna fish sandwich trap.

Don't we all wish we had pets as loyal as Hobbes....?

Caracters

Calvin : He's a 6 year old kid with a wild imagination. He's best friend is a tiger named Hobbes. They both go on wild adventures and are the founders of the G.R.O.S.S club ( Get Rid Of Slimy GirlS). He pholosophies a lot and will do anything to get out of doing homework ( even time travel ). He gets on his parents nerves all the time. He's what every kid thinks but will never do.

Hobbes : He's Calvin's imaginary tiger ( Sshh don't tell Calvin). He has been Calvin's best friend for years and go's along with him on all of his adventures. A lot of the time he try's to show Calvin how rediculous he's being but usualy go's along with it anyway. He goes wherever Calvin goes except school but he makes up for it with a daily pounce. He is the ultamite friend to have.

This is what Hobbes looks like in real life, he pretty much gets draged around with Calvin.

Mom : Calvin's mom is very couragious and patient with her child, because if she wasn't she would be killing him. It may seem like she's mean but she's just trying to cope with whatever her son dishes out.

Dad : Calvin's dad is one of those people who likes reading the paper after work and lounging around on the couch. When he is bothered by Calvin and finds it annoying he usually just sends him to shovel the path or some other job. He is very low tempered which is perfect for raising a kid like Calvin.

Susie : She's the little girl that Calvin and Hobbes pick on. They throw water balloons and rotten apples at her. She is the "G.R.O.S.S" club's biggest enemy. Calvin also try's to freak her out all the time. Lets just say that they don't get along well toghether.

Mrs. Wormwood : She's Calvin's teacher and she's the one that hear's about most of his CrAzY adventures thru time, his space trips and his excuses about not doing his homework. She dosen't really have that much patience left for him, so she mostly discards his misbehavior or just tells his parents.

Moe : He's the older kid that keeps picking on Calvin. He isn't the brightest star in the sky ( if you know what I mean ) but he always finds ways to make Calvin mad and weak.

Rosalyn : She's Calvin's babysitter. They get along ok except when she try's to put him to bed or do his homework. She isn't in the comic strip often but she holds a place in this "Caracters" list.
