Dome Rules

1. The Acrodome is a special interest room, our interest is having fun and making friends.

2. The game is played as follows.

    A. The game begins with the three letter round, topic General Acrophobia.

    B. The winner of the round, as selected by the Bot, will make up a topic for
         the next round unless the round ends with a Face Off.

    C. The topic will be entered in the "Chat Box" using the "/me Topic" command
         followed by the Topic of the round in purple caps.

    D. The other players will attempt to follow the topic in creation of their Acro.

    E. During the voting round, vote for the Acro that;

         1. Follows the topic.

         2. In your opinion was the best Acro.
 

RULES FOR TOURNAMENT PLAY:

1. No pandering, using team mates names or team names in your acro.

2. No use of all Caps

3. Only the Captains of the teams will handle any outsider that should happen to come in.
    They usually do this by calling for TIME OUT IN CHAT.
    (please do not talk in chat until the non-team member has left or has been removed)
    At this time they will explain to the outsider what is going on and ask them to find
    another room to play in.
    If the outsider refuses to leave then the Captains will ask the team to do /complain.

4. No sex topics. In some tournament innuendos are allowed as long as they aren't
    graphic or explicit. You will be advised before the game rather it is a Clean game or
    if Innuendos are allowed.

5. THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE IS TO HAVE FUN
 
 

POLICY

1. No Dual Membership....dual membership means being a member of more than one team, but does not prohibit DR's from filling in as a temporary player for other teams, if needed.

2. Play in at least 1 tournament every 2 months to stay active, unless circumstance prevent you from playing then it will be up to you to notify the Captain or Co-Captain. After 4 months of inactivity you will be dropped as a member of team.

3. New Members will be accepted in one of the following ways.

a. By Application with the approval of the Captain and Co-Captain.
b. By Invitation from either the Captain or Co-Captain.
c. Recommendation by a member with the approval of the Captain and Co-Captain

4. Any major decisions or policy changes will be put to the membership to be voted upon.

5. Any Complaints, grievances or suggestions are to be directed to one of the Officers. If you so desire you can remain anonymous with the exception of the person you are reporting to. That Officer will call a meeting of the other Officers to discuss whatever it is and try to come up with a solution together. The person you reported to will contact you with the outcome of that meeting. If you wish to attend that meeting let the person know that you are reporting to that you would like to be included in the meeting.

WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT

BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE

CANNOT BELONG TO ANOTHER TEAM

PLAY DOME/COUCH RULES

HAVE ICQ

BE ABLE TO PLAY IN TOURNAMENTS AT NIGHT,
ONCE IN AWHILE.

ALL NEW MEMBERS ACCEPTED WILL
BE PLACED ON PROBATION.
AFTER PLAYING IN AT LEAST 4 TOURNAMENTS
THE MEMBERSHIP WILL VOTE BY E-MAIL
RATHER TO ACCEPT OR NOT ACCEPT
